Problem is, it is a fool's errand to trust Trump on any of these things. He's got no track record on most of them and, figuratively speaking, it was about five minutes ago that he was saying the polar opposite...

We've been saying for...what, 200+ years? that our Founding Fathers called for citizen politicians who served for a few years then went back home.

That kind of person, by definition, will have no track record. Before he announced for President Trump was, to use terminology from The Godfather, a civilian.
