How Trump can quiet Rubio and Cruz with these three words...
dmztahoe

Posted on 02/10/2016 9:20:33 AM PST by dmzTahoe

Three words that will silence Rubio and Cruz and dramatically contrast Mr. Trump's strength to the Senatots' weakness...

When Mr. Trump is debating, and the establishment Senators (Cruz and Rubio) start proudly saying what they have done in "leading" the fight against this or that, or pushing this or that legislation, I wish Mr Trump would look at them in the eyes and say...

"That's very noble of you to lead the fight, Senator, but tell me something about those efforts... DID YOU WIN? It's one thing to fight for something, but if you don't win, you are a loser. America doesn't need a loser. America needs someone who wins. And that's not you, Senator."

DID YOU WIN?

Marco: "I led the fight against..."

Trump: "Did you win?"

Cruz: "I stood in the Senate and led the fight against..."

Trump: "Did you win?"

Trump is a proven winner. What have Cruz and Rubio won? America will note the difference

Election won.

Hmmm...please trust me that I’m strictly going by personal conversations I’ve had there, with drivers, business associates, family/friends of family. They don’t even use those derogatory words when they talk about Trump, either!

I am talking EVERYWHERE we go, there.

Most appreciate the way he’s changed the entire political conversation....and is the FIRST one to do so, in decades.

The one who does it the most is Hillary. Fighting, fighting, fighting. She always says how much she is fighting. Whom is she fighting, and does she ever win anything? Looks like she won over Vince Foster and the Benghazi heroes. She seems to be fighting the truth most of all.

Cruz did not stop it the House did. It passed the Senate of which Cruz is a member. Yes, Cruz and Sessions lent their support to House conservatives to stop the bill along with the grassroots.

No. The soldiers aren’t losers, but the CIC is. Soldiers are only as good as their leaders since they have to “obey”.

The US/military was and is controlled by the super elites and they are ONLY out to make money now and create a NWO-—they do NOT care about borders, or that our men are killed and mutilated. They want billions eliminated off of their Mother Earth. Our military is NOT led by a George Washington or Gen. Patton anymore (sadly).

We need what Machiavelli knew—Virtue restored for there is no “winning” or “freedom” without Virtue. Virtue was eliminated at the top decades ago—Gen. Patton was going to report that to Congress before he was killed-—and the rot from the head is now rotting the rest of the military as sodomy and bestiality is now literally promoted and Christian pastors are ejected. Only Christian Ethics are rational—based on Natural Law Theory—our Constitution. All others are irrational and will lead to chaos—tribal, pagan mindsets of socialism/slavery. Vice creates slaves only.

Vice breeds Vice and Machiavelli stated that militaries MUST promote “public virtue” at all times to succeed—otherwise chaos and tyranny.

“It’s a valid line of attack.

To which there are several responses, among which are:

“No, I didn’t win because too many Senators you financially supported oppose fundamental improvement.””

So what you are saying is Trump won that battle too? Proves my point. They can’t beat Trump.

Yep!

Seems like someone said something familiar.

Think it was in a meeting with Congressional members?

They were told “I won.” Wasn’t there but was told that!

Did he win?

I think he or his people read the posts here, because many times, what is posted here is picked up in his speeches.

Now THAT'S funny right there. I don't care who you are. That's funny. Sorry, I guess you posted that as a serious comment; but, Wow.

The difference I see is that Trump isn't campaigning that he's led the fight against bankruptcy, failed marriages, adultery etc. like Cruz and Rubio are campaigning that they've led the fight on their failures. As a Cruz supporter, I don't see this as a put-down of Cruz. The OP has made a valid suggestion for a campaign strategy. And one that is much more logical than that of bragging about lost battles, IMO.

Vera Coking

In 1993, Donald Trump bought several lots around his Atlantic City casino and hotel, intending to build a parking lot designed for limousines. Coking, who had lived in her house at that time for about 35 years, refused to sell. When Coking refused to sell to Trump, the city of Atlantic City condemned her house, using the power of eminent domain. Her designated compensation was to be $251,000, about one quarter of what Guccione had offered her 10 years earlier.

With the assistance of the Institute for Justice, Coking fought the local authorities, and eventually prevailed. Superior Court Judge Richard Williams ruled that, because there were "no limits" on what Trump could do with the property, the plan to take Coking's property did not meet the test of law. But Williams' ruling did not reject the practice of using eminent domain to take private property from one individual and transferring it to another, which would eventually be upheld by the Supreme Court of the United States in Kelo v. City of New London.

Coking remained in her house until 2010, when she moved to a retirement home in the San Francisco Bay Area near her daughter, Claudia Casey Coking and her grandchildren, Ed Casey, Raymond Casey and Claudia Casey- Fernandez

Casey subsequently tried to sell the house, putting it on the market in 2011 with an initial asking price of $5 million. By September 2013 the price had reduced to $1 million, but it still did not sell as Atlantic City continued to suffer the lingering effects of the financial crisis of 2007–08 and over-building during the boom that preceded it.[citation needed]

The property was finally sold for $530,000 in an auction on July 31, 2014. Neither the Casino Reinvestment Development Authority nor the owners of Trump Plaza expressed any interest in the auction. The buyer was Carl Icahn, who held the debt on Trump Entertainment, owner of Trump Plaza. He subsequently demolished the house.

Note: The property was ultimately sold for twice what she would have received thru eminent domain seizure.

Huge win and there are many more.

In the landmark case of District of Columbia v. Heller, Cruz drafted the amicus brief signed by the attorneys general of 31 states, which said that the D.C. handgun ban should be struck down as infringing upon the Second Amendment right to keep and bear arms. Cruz also presented oral argument for the amici states in the companion case to Heller before the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit.

New Hampshire primary not withstanding, what has Trump won politically?

Who stopped the Gang of 8 Amnesty that the leaders of both parties were set to shove down the throats of the American people.

“Note: The property was ultimately sold for twice what she would have received thru eminent domain seizure”

All fine and dandy. However it has been reported that Trump was willing to pay far more.

“If you will not fight for right when you can easily win without blood shed; if you will not fight when your victory is sure and not too costly; you may come to the moment when you will have to fight with all the odds against you and only a precarious chance of survival. There may even be a worse case. You may have to fight when there is no hope of victory, because it is better to perish than to live as slaves.”

— Winston Churchill
