Like Donkey Kong. Ted Cruz scored a surprising third-place finish in New Hampshire in yesterday's first-in-the-nation primary, and now it looks like he's going for a knockout before South Carolina. Cruz tweeted out the campaign's latest web ad after his victory, one that takes aim at the winner, Donald Trump. The ad depicts children playing with their new "Donald Trump action figure," and says what he does most is "pretend to be a Republican"...
It's a tour de force of counter-Trump arguments. The ad manages to mention Trump's friendship with Hillary Clinton, Nancy Pelosi, and Harry Reid (and adds in a shot at Anthony Weiner, too). Bailouts and Too Big To Fail get mentioned, but it's Trump's support for eminent domain that gets most of the attention (video):

Why do Cruz supporters lie so much? Trump has not taken one inch of property via eminent domain. Trump has not made a single dime via eminent domain. Stop the lies about Trump!
Love the ad!!
You are right they will have “equal power”.
BUT
Cruz will be unwilling to utilize the full power available to him, while Trump will have no such issues.
Plus, much of what Trump wants to do requires no new legislation, just the will to enforce laws already on the books.
Great ad.
Energy is a national security issue. Casions are not.
I have heard of no ED complaints from landowners with regard to Keystone.
I absolutely agree.
But that doesn't justify the irrational cat fight about it, compared to all the never mentioned long standing problems that need to be resolved.
If I didn't think that Trump has the wherewithal to deal with the SERIOUS national problems, I would not vote for him.
When are you people going to drop the false H-1B attack? Cruz is co-sponsoring a bill that would suspend them and sharply restrict them. That is a fact that you don’t want to acknowledge.
You treat facts the way liberals do.
Poor Dennis Eckersley....that look on his face when he watched that ball sail over the fence. PRICELESS.
Build the wall and stop illegal immigration, he will have moved the ball further in out direction than any president in my lifetime.
And the best part is... Trump doesn't even have to get congress to pass any new laws to accomplish this. The laws are already on the books!
That’s what I thought when I first read the headline, but I’m not sure that every registered Republican pays as much attention to the details of issues as those of us here on FR.
I suspect that the vast majority of registered Republicans still believe that ANY Republican is better than Hillary Clinton. And while that may be true, the degree of separation between Jeb! and Hillary is much less than the degree of separation between Ted Cruz and Hillary. While most Democrats these days are cut from the same cloth, the same is not true for all Republicans.
I agree. I laugh at you folks every time you do it.
It displays desperation.

So you agreed with the Kell decision? Kicking people out of their home so a private business can be built that would bring in more tax revenue? (After all that, they didn’t even build it)
Which ones? The ones he is promoting in his campaign or the ones he has advocated all his life? Because there is no resemblance between them.
Good point Jane.
Stick it.
What do the Democrats want that he's going to give them to make that bluster come true?
I have absolutely zero faith in that guy, and am trying to convince myself that he's even worthy of a vote in the general election.
It’s an issue, and Trump’s accumulation of wealth by having the government take the
property of working people to enrich him
