Though Bernie Sanders won the New Hampshire primary in a landslide over Hillary Clinton, he will likely receive fewer delegates than she will.
Sanders won 60 percent of the vote, but thanks to the Democratic Party’s nominating system, he leaves the Granite State with at least 13 delegates while she leaves with at least 15 delegates.
New Hampshire has 24 “pledged†delegates, which are allotted based on the popular vote. Sanders has 13, and Clinton has 9, with 2 currently allotted to neither.
But under Democratic National Committee rules, New Hampshire also has 8 “superdelegates,†party officials who are free to commit to whomever they like, regardless of how their state votes. Their votes count the same as delegates won through the primary.

Sanders has 42 delegates.
If Hillary keeps “ cheating “ D voters like this she will get less votes than Jack the Ripper would get for the Miss Congeniality award.
People might want to look at 2008 Clinton superdelegates.
The SDs may announce for Hillary early because of the Clinton smear (and worse) machine, but the whole point of SDs is that they are free to vote for someone even if they said they would vote for Hillary. A lot of them switched to Obama in 2008, and they’ll do it again to Hillary for the same reasons.

I’m sure Billary did a better job picking their SDs after the black ones jumped ship to Obama last time out. She’s got them locked down.
She’s already won the nomination. That side of the election is a joke obviously. She’s got 90% of the votes after losing two states!
Whether it’s work against opponents, a fund raising operation, a media push, a national poll or even decisions in their own party; everything with democrats functions on deception.
Obama gave them an easy path out of Camp Hillary in 2008 because of his “moderate” persona and racial issues.
Bernie has neither of those going for him. The Dem Party establishment doesn’t see him as an acceptable, viable alternative to Hillary.
They WILL be open to jumping to Biden, if the opportunity presents itself. But Biden can only enter the race now if Hillary exits. Say under indictment or threat of indictment.

Hillary doesn’t get to pick superdelegates. Most of them are or were elected officials of one sort or another, few of whom owe any allegiance to Hillary.

Why are they being counted as Hillary delegates if they in now way have pledge allegiance to her at the convention?
IIRC, the superdelegates were the decisive votes for Obama in 2008.

Hillary won NH.
They are asked. They play it safe. Saying they support Hillary in January in no way obligates them to support Hillary at the convention. That doesn’t mean it won’t get very interesting. A close split of elected delegates would likely hand it to Hill.
Maybe the Dems will take to the streets with torches and pitchforks before the Republicans.
