The protest runs from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. in front of NFL headquarters, at 345 Park Avenue in NYC, which is between 51st and 52nd Streets.

For those who live or work in the area, you can go at any time and stay as long as it is convenient for you. It is free, but you need to register at the site and get a ticket.

I hope you will join me at this very important rally to show support for those who care enough to risk their lives for their fellow citizens.

I haven't heard who the speakers are going to be but I may find out shortly and will bring you up to date.

I got to the rally site at 2:30 and no one was there. It was a rainy day in NYC, so I guess that “explains” it. The building security guys said there were some people there earlier but they left.

I don’t think these people were very dedicated to supporting the cops. Also, I think having an all-day rally is not such a great idea.

I’ll see if there is any coverage in the press, but I kind of doubt it.
