Trump has created more excitement in a primary, brought more voters and he is Rodney Dangerfield. I want him to run 3rd party. Let them win with Cruz or Bush. They do not want him.

I like that he’s destroying the RNC and GOPe right now.

Great sport... LOL

Exactly. Too many Freepers have the sensibility of a tender footed pre-teen girly girl. . . Oh my, I do believe I might given some Cruzbots the vapors.

How could it be a year? Trump wasn’t even supported by people around here until, what, June, and even then it took a while to get momentum. Then there was the period where two knuckleheads were having their ‘bromance.’ and were BFFs. So how could it be a year?

Not me. I want him to run and win as a Republican. Only then can he successfully shake up the Republican Party Establishment.

I wish Trump would go third party. See how they do without him.

Only if Cruz is out. If it is Bernie (Hillary?) vs Cruz vs Trump, then the hyper-Left wins again. Even on Freerepublic, we are evenly split. Cutting the right in half and letting the left stay united, they win easily.

Well Cruz fans want him gone as well as his supporters. They have no appreciation for what he has done. I say grant their wish and get out.

It seems like a year. Cruz supporters started attacking me before I’d even decided for Trump. I was originally for Cruz. Then for a while I was not actively for Cruz or Trump; I was suspended between the two. I made a few mildly positive comments about Trump. You’d have to go back in my posting history to observe the aggression, hostility, venom and bile the Cruz supporters piled on me—in packs.

Trump was not as popular in those days, and Cruz was more so. The pack mentality was strong. If they spotted a sign of ‘sedition,’ the response was nuke it from space.

It’s amazing it hasn’t been a year. It feels like it’s been that long at least.

Trump is the establishment. He’s said so many times. Every crusty old Republican and RINO has said they prefer Trump be elected over Cruz. Only Cruz is for radical reform to destroy Congress’ ability to game the system and line their own pockets, e.g. the ethanol scam and all the special tax breaks and carve-outs done for donors. Trump’s going to preserve the status quo. Other than his salty language about women and minorities, the establishment LOVES Trump.

You couldn’t be more wrong. Without Trump, Cruz would be running away with the nomination as the only true conservative in the race. Cruz is and would be campaigning on the Tea Party agenda of shrinking government, stopping NSA surveillance overreach, cutting taxes, stopping illegal immigration, defeating ISIS, calling out radical Islamic terrorism, repealing Obamacare, ending sanctuary cities, appointing originalist judges.

Cruz’ agenda is the true conservative Tea Party agenda. He’s been talking about all the key conservative issues since he ran for Senate and he’s kept all his promises to fight for what conservatives want.

AMEN! You can be foreign born, lie about it and everything else and run for president, but GAWD forbid if you say PUSSY.

These are the same kind of ‘christian’ bigots who wanted to destroy and throw away Winston Churchill because he told it like it was.

I remember Clinton...before him I was apolitical, now I’m a conservative on a conservative website wanting to vote for a conservative for the first time. It would also be nice, if the president were actually presidential as in the 80s as well as during the Bush years...which was surprisingly actually in the current century...remember?
