Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton just gave his critics all the ammunition they need.
Already under fire for how he conducts himself on the field, Newton went silent after his team's 24-10 loss to the Denver Broncos on Sunday in Super Bowl 50, sulking at the podium and essentially refusing to answer questions.

LOL...animated gif that will forever haunt the guy. That was probably available a minute after, that melt down.
He was a jerk at Florida.
He was a jerk at Auburn.
He is a jerk at Carolina.
I hope Doug Williams is laughing his ass off.
That GIF is going to get a lot of play.
He’s wrong besides being a spoiled brat. Denver’s D demolished several other good offenses this year. They were outplayed pure and simple
If he would admit they fell short and learn from it, he could become a great quarterback like Manning. If he sulks and remains arrogant, not so much. Its up to him.
What the heck is up with the hoodie? Is he trying to convey a subliminal message? He comes across as a very snotty political and racist nasty person.
Crybabies like him is why I didn't even watch the game today.
Lol! Boy, did you hit the nail on the head.
When I think of SOME men, those who defend our country, some of THEM aren't yet twenty.
Wah! Boohoo! Cam Newton is a spoiled brat. End of story.
Some males grow up at fourteen. THEY have to take care of the family. Other males finally grow up at forty. Depends on their personality, upbringing and BACKBONE.
The gif in post #28 is much more embarrassing.
Drama queen. I hate this kind of acting, celebrations and so forth. Unprofessional.
The people who interview seem to be chosen for how irritating they are. I’ve seen it in tennis for eons. Mary Carillo FINALLY learned not to be so irritating that one wanted to SMACK her right through the television.
I was rooting for the Sheriff. Wanted to see him go out winning his 200th game, and on a note with his second super bowl victory.
He did not have a sterling game...but he did what he had to do to let his defense be the difference in that game.
and they were.
Cam was not used to the kind of defense he played that had him on his backside so much. He was sacked seven times...hit and rushed many more...and the Denver defense hemmed him in pretty good.
Hopefully, this loss will help mature him...and he needs to. He got testy at the end, and not answering any questions after the game was classless and a sign of immaturity IMHO.
Cam made the mistake I think of believing that he had to play better than Manning, when what he really had to do was to better the Denver defense.
And he failed at that.
Oh well, he has a lot of years left...and he needs to remember that Manning may have won two super bowls...but he also lost two.
Good on Denver, and congratulations to the Sheriff!
I said to a friend earlier, he looks like someone who has been told he was special his whole life.
...
From what I’ve read a lot of successful athletes were raised that way.
What brought that on?
Brady doesn’t pout.
.
It’s a child’s GAME. Real men act like men. He ain’t one.
He is #1? He should have dived on that ball! It’s no wonder they lost. That’s chicken****. What a puss!
Why should his line protect him if he won’t make an effort? Incredible. The super bowl.
BTW I believe Denver had 7 sacks.
If we spent as much time on our SOULS as we do on everything else ...
Yep...I hadn’t scrolled that far down. Combined, they really capture the character of the man...er, little boy.
