Yes, you’re correct. Seven sacks on Cam Newton is astounding, but it was that awesome Denver “D” that was in his face all game long. Cam got manhandled tonight.
Only six on Cam. The other was the on the halfback pass they tried to set up.
Perhaps somebody else already addressed your comment here...Denver DID have 7 sacks...BUT Cam was only sacked 6 times...1 sack was on a trick play where WR Guinn was supposed to throw but ran out of bounds.
