I did 10 months in Germany after Nam, then ETSed.
I was pissed going overseas again after Nam but Germany was a great tour!

We used to joke that if the chinese or viet cong ever

But that soon became not very funny.

I’ve been trying to get my Mom to connect to the here and now. She thinks my sister is still here and I’m taking time off. That was several weeks ago. I’m repeating and repeating and repeating. And she’s a little under the weather, so I suspect that is not helping.
Hope your Mom is getting along well. Did she join the quilting group?

I don’t think she has yet. She has developed some blood clots behind the knee of the leg that broke last time. They caught it quick and got her on meds.
God bless you for your patience. I hope you can help her to understand that your sister is gone and you are back at work. Does it worry you to leave her at home by herself?
