Why is it that intelligent people that are willing to work seem to do better than dumb people who are lazy?

I thought this was about a poor white rapper named Johnny Cash who rapped in songs about having been everywhere and building a car one piece at a time...

This matches the lyrics to his first "White Privilege" song. He asked: "Where's my place in a music that's been taken by my race? Culturally appropriated by the white face? He added: "we still owe 'em 40 acres / now we've stolen their 16 bars."Rap has stolen the guitar riff licks (the key to those hits memorability) and looped them and reissued those licks as "new" hits. Stolen the idea of rap. Preposterous.
As older songwriters will tell you NOBODY OWNS THE BLUES.

In 2013, he denounced his white fans in Rolling Stone, just as he does in the new song, that parents find him "safe enough for the kids," when they would never find a black rapper to make "safe" music. Nonsense. How insulting to black rappers (and black parents) that blacks can't make "safe" music for kids.![](http://cdn.makeagif.com/media/6-18-2015/K1SIQi.gif)

The fool is a flipping moron.
His "white guilt" schtick will not fly long, but he's made enough money off the stupid bubblegum chompers (who are being raised to be White-privilege apologists, by their White-privilege hipster parents ) to worry too much about it.
Truth be told, he probably calls them all the "n" word behind their backs, while he laughs on his way to the bank.

Shouldn’t he return all the awards and money he made after he stole their “16 bars”? What a crook.

Looks like a case of “Liberal Tithing” of “Liberal Offering”. Ben makes this song or says some kind of off the wall statement, then cashes in from the some other stuff, guilt free.

If this is how he feels, why does he continue to rap? Shouldn't he quit the business and form a rock band? Oh wait, rock was appropriated too, so then he should forget rap and rock and compose some chamber music.

I'll agree Macklemore's income is all out of proportion to his talent.
I guess that qualifies was some sort of unearned privilege.

parents find him "safe enough for the kids," when they would never find a black rapper to make "safe" music. What was last year's murder rate in South Central Los Angeles? Palos Verdes Hills? There's your answer, punk.
