Trump Leads Cruz by 16 Points in Alabama – 37-21%

Donald Trump has to be happy seeing the latest results out of Alabama, where he is currently beating Ted Cruz by 16 points. Though the state only awards 47 delegates on Super Tuesday, if things stay about the same as they are now, he stands to gain a lot of delegates from the Yellowhammer State. Of course, things can change quickly, as the nation saw first-hand in Iowa on Monday night. Marco Rubio had a surprising surge to a strong third place finish, clearly positioning himself as the establishment candidate of choice.

Three days after the Iowa Caucuses have finished and we’ve had three Republicans drop out of the race, bringing the total to 9. Where their support goes is still up in the air, but candidate dropouts will probably have an effect on the Alabama race.

Just saw Bernie Goldberg on with O'Rielly.

Bernie HATES, LOATHES, and ABOMINATES Trump!

He says that Ted STOLE the Iowa caucus with his DIRTY TRICKS and is disgusted b y it all; so is Bill. Bill also said "THIS HAS GOT TO STOP AND NOW !", re what Cruz did.

We Trumpers make a hell of a lot better allies than we do enemies.I understand this is a fight for the nomination but we need to remember that when the dust settles we have to band together to fight our common enemy. The communists.

Why is the border still wide open despite the American public’s opinion against this situation? Even under Republican Bush it didn’t change.

I say follow the money. Probably drug cartel money is paying off politicians, judges and police on both sides of the border.

The other part of follow the money is the open borders types that want to destroy American wages with cheap labor.

Go Trump! Our last hope.

The off hand remark about Carly's face, was said in private and then made public.

Chuckle.
An interview with Rolling Stone magazine is NOT private. And it was most certainly NOT offhand. It was a deliberate, nasty, vicious insult.
Read:

When the anchor throws to Carly Fiorina for her reaction to Trump’s momentum, Trump’s expression sours in schoolboy disgust as the camera bores in on Fiorina. “Look at that face!” he cries. “Would anyone vote for that? Can you imagine that, the face of our next president?!” The laughter grows halting and faint behind him. “I mean, she’s a woman, and I’m not s’posedta say bad things, but really, folks, come on. Are we serious?”

The Rolling Stone profile is long, and covers a lot of other ground, but that passage is definitely the big takeaway. It’s quintessential Trump: mean for the sake of mean, shallow for the sake of being shallow and displaying a complete ignorance of the fact that he isn’t exactly a catch himself:

One funny thing. Cruz is my age, and think since obama was a young incoming senator, he thinks “why not me?”

i’m 47. After the last blizzard the Slovanians across the street used the snow blower to cause 6 foot drifts on my sidewalk.

I want out at 2am and cursed like a sailor and forgot i had the body of a fat 47 year old and not the 20 year old boxer’s that once was.

They would have killed me lol.

Point being, men can still be brash and immature in their mid 40s.

Now i’m for Cruz, but my generation did not mature at the fastest pace in history.

I think the sixties is a good age for a president, optimally.

YES! I too loved it. Did you see how hot GRETA was over it? Epic, reportedly. I DVR’d it and am going to go to bed and watch it.

See ya, dearest.

And it wasn't just Fiorina either. He graduated from all ng Fiorina ugly, to calling Rand Paul ugly as well.

Missed one of your questions.

He seems to have a sizable lead across the rest of the nation.

Ted may do well in Texas. If he remains close, that may push him over the top. I don’t know if Texas is proportional or not.

It used to most states were winner take all. Now it has changed to proportional. That has lost favor with me.

If a guy comes in a close second for ten states, he could theoretically win one big state and wind up the most delegates.

That doesn’t seem right to me. If you win ten elections to one, that seems to be a bigger deal than simple majority of delegates.

I thought that it was just a conversation on his plane and wasn't meant for publication.

Oh well....it isn't akin to stealing a caucus b y lying, hiding one's business transactions from the FEC, forgetting *cough* to file two loans on a required FEC file ( which isn't quite as serious as the illegal part of the loans for his Senatorial campaign ), nor his own silly insults.

But that's okay....enjoy your own bubble.

I too have some reservations with a guy Obama’s age.

It does seem like 55-60 is a better age, more mature, perhaps a little less bowing. LOL

Well, those are going to be interesting days.

I think I know how they will turn out, but things are fluid.

I did not see Rubio pulling as strong a 3rd in Iowa as he wound up with.

Yikes.

i think the MIXING is more unfair. Some states are proportionate and some aren’t in the generals, no?

How can that be constitutional?

I’d like to know how many dem and how many repub states are proportional. Bet there’s more dem.

This is what i get for chatting on a slow night at work.

I just poured diet coke on my pancakes :)

at least i didn’t drink the syrup!

Oh no! But he lost Iowa but a few thousand votes!

Trump didn't waste his time running around to every sparsely populated county in Iowa because...........

HE DIDN'T HAVE TO!

Iowa serves to reduce the pack of candidates. Which is already has. Three have already dropped out.

Campaigning heavily in Iowa is a strategy to NOT LOSE, not a strategy to win.

I like Cruz, I really do. But I don't think he's the guy for America right now.

Trump has been running a national campaign for months. He's been filling entire stadiums at his rallies.

A Republican hasn't been able to do this since......never possibly?

Bro, I dont care what age i was, I would DIE before I bowed to anyone, I couldn’t give a @#$ about their customs or whatever.

That would be the NYer in me. Screw that.

he wears their outfits, bows to EVERYONE, he makes me SICK!!!!!

My temperament at this rate would probably make me presidential material at about 160 years old lol

Good. Glad that works for you.

The states set up their own system.

It is strange the variety, but it is what it is.

Trump will win N.Y. which has a vast number of delegate and that state is NOT proportional.

Trump will probably win Florida, which also has a vast number of delegate and I don't believe that that state is proportional, either.
