Thursday on his radio show, conservative talk show host Rush Limbaugh reacted to President Barack Obama’s address to a mosque in Baltimore a day earlier. According to Limbaugh, it raised a larger question about Obama, which pertained to Obama “routinely†touting Islam and why he chose Christianity over other religions.

I am a Christian.
So, I have a deep faith. So I draw from the Christian faith.
On the other hand, I was born in Hawaii where obviously there are a lot of Eastern influences.
I lived in Indonesia, the largest Muslim country in the world, between the ages of six and 10.
My father was from Kenya, and although he was probably most accurately labeled an agnostic, his father was Muslim.
And I’d say, probably, intellectually I’ve drawn as much from Judaism as any other faith.
So, I’m rooted in the Christian tradition. I believe that there are many paths to the same place, and that is a belief that there is a higher power, a belief that we are connected as a people. That there are values that transcend race or culture, that move us forward, and there’s an obligation for all of us individually as well as collectively to take responsibility to make those values lived.
And so, part of my project in life was probably to spend the first 40 years of my life figuring out what I did believe - I’m 42 now - and it’s not that I had it all completely worked out, but I’m spending a lot of time now trying to apply what I believe and trying to live up to those values.
He is just using Islam. He has no problem killing innocent Muslims.
Taqiyya. It’s what muslims do. He lied to “we the people”, proclaiming himself a Christian so he could further Islam in the United States.
I have never seen him protect Christians or Christianity at the expense of Islam or the followers of Islam.
He said if push comes to shove, he will side with Islam.
He’s proven it over and over.

This is not a serious question. Rush should know that the “church” he joined was one promoting Leftist Black Nationalist causes. ANY aspiring Black politicians pretty much had to be a member in order to have a chance with the Mooching Class.
It has little or nothing to do with Christianity.
Obummer’s religion is Opportunism, as befits a narcissist.

Political expediency. I think he admitted as much, that he “converted” when Michelle told him he needed to look like a church going Christian to win on the South Side of Chicago.

No one, No one every misstates their very own religion.
He didn’t choose to become a Christian. He chose to present himself as one.
I remember reading of an interview with the Rev. Wright, who despite his weird ideas, is strangely honest in some ways. He stated that he was never convinced that Obama’s conversion from Muslim to Christian was real.
Did anyone else hear this?
