>> Very difficult for a third party candidate to win <<

Sure, agreed in full.

But a 3rd partier CAN derail somebody they don’t like, the way Perot derailed GHW Bush. So if Trump really despises the “liar” Cruz as much as he was indicating today, maybe DT would try to derail Cruz just for spite.

And not only that:

If Trump could run as an Indie and thereby hand the election to Hilary, I’ll bet Hilary and Bill would gladly attend Don’s next wedding in Palm Beach!

>> Santorum thinks Rubio can win and Cruz can’t. Plus he probably wants a job just in case Rubio wins <<

Santo would be the perfect candidate for U. S. Ambassador to the Vatican.

Trump is the biggest amnesty pusher in the election.

Bigger than Bush, Rubio, Kasich, Cruz ? Your lack of credibility is showing.

Yes, Trump employs more illegals than all of them combined. His industry DEPENDS on illegals.

He bashed Romney as being TOO TOUGH on immigration.

He keeps pushing amnesty, even as he does his charade about being "tough on immigration."

Trump's words mean nothing!

You are falling for a con if you believe what the media & Trump tell you about his position in immigration.

Hmm, I’m surprised at his choice.

I know Bush’s acts of love.
I know Rubio’s gang of 8.
I know Cruz’s H1B1 visas.
And I know Trump will build a wall and send them back.

You are dead wrong when you compare Trump’s position on illegals unfavorably to the other candidates. And you know it.

Santorum seems like he lost his way. He should not have run this time. His moment passed.

Oh hell I just spoke too soon. Comment of the Dayâ„¢ goes to you, rube: "Trump is responsible for Santorum endorsing Rubio".

You are using quotes. I never said that, rube.

Sellout. Pure & simple.

Just the fact that he lost reelection by 19% should have dictated he was retired from politics.

I doubt Trump would want to spend his own money and devote the time to run as a third party candidate after running the gauntlet of the Rep primaries. And then there are the problems associated with getting on the ballots in each of the states. Not going to happen.

Read it again. Lying Cruz will not carry another state. Ever wonder why not the first sitting US senator has endorsed him?

“Rubio will defeat Hillary easily. First he looks younger than his age, while Hillary looks older than her age. The contrast will be striking. But much more important, Rubio is likable and a smooth talker.”

I don’t understand why people keep stating that Rubio is likable. IMO, he is creepy and a blatant liar. It’s so obvious that he is a typical, lying, crooked politician. I don’t see how people can be fooled by him.

Hillary would DESTROY Rubio. Absolutely annihilate him. He isn’t tough enough to survive a debate with her. He would want to play ‘nice” like Romney. He’s no fighter.

His support for amnesty and his willingness to overthrow Assad makes him unelectable.

You should know by now huge rallies don’t make you a winner. You learned that this past Monday night, correct? Some people learn real slow. From what I have read Trump appeals to the non affluent and less educated, so I understand where you are coming from.

Majority of voters are not as well informed as you.
When I ask friends about which politician stands for what, they invariably have no clue. They simply go by impression made by the candidates in TV appearances and Ads.

I am talking about voters in the middle. Voters on both extremes will always vote for the party. I know bunch of democrats personally, who will vote for Hillary, even if GOP nominated mother Theresa.

You will be proven wrong next Tuesday. Take it to the bank. Do not go by a caucus where less than 5 percent of eligible people bother to spend 3 to 4 hours to vote.
