Cruz cheated Carson. There is no way around it. If Carson had gotten all the votes he was supposed to get, the first three/four candidates would have adjusted numbers. Cruz is sleazy.

Other campaigns watched the CNN report, with Ben Carson being the source, they concluded the same thing as the Cruz staffers, and followed the same course of action. Did they all cheat Carson? Or did Carson put his foot in his mouth?
Cruz did some hinky stuff. None of it IMO made Trump lose. But the shaming letters were really bad news and he did try to torpedo Ben Carson. None of it speaks well to character.

True, Cruz cheated and he needs to be called out on this before it gets out of hand. Cruz cannot be allowed to try cheating or any other tricks again. Trump understands this as is going after him big time.
Then people got inside and heard the Cruz disinformation/slash/dirty trick that Carson was dropping out, don't waste your vote, etc.
So about ~25% of people who were going to vote for Carson switched to Cruz. And that was the margin of difference and the reason why the polls were wrong about Trump winning.
This article conveniently hangs its hat on polls when they are needed to make one point, then ignores them when they don't support their point.

You are so correct. Everyone of the Cruz supporters wants this to be about Trump, but the issue is Cruz cheated Carson. So many here indicate it was ok to cheat Carso because “he wasn’t winning anyway.”
People continue in marathons even after the first person crosses the finish line to see where they honestly stood but Carson wasn’t given that.
And I simply fail to see how all these people who hate Trump so much for not being a good Christian as now so willing to say it is ok for Cruz as a Christian to lie if it fit the desired goal
No, Cruz did not cheat Carson.
It was actually RUBIO who sent out a tweet saying Carson was leaving the race. Cruz had nothing to do with it .. it was a staffer who saw the report from CNN and surmised Carson had quit the race.
We have yet to hear an apology to Ted Cruz from Dr. Carson though ..??
Cruz did not cheat anyone.. You don’t announce your going home in the middle of a Caucus vote unless your quitting or a little slow. Now I like Ben Carson but he has done some rather strange things during his campaign.. You don’t quit campaigning to go on a book tour...
