Donald Trump just accused Ted Cruz of stealing the Iowa caucuses over the Cruz campaign's admission that it helped spread a rumor that Ben Carson was dropping out of the race:
Donald J. Trump @realDonaldTrump Ted Cruz didn't win Iowa, he stole it. That is why all of the polls were so wrong and why he got far more votes than anticipated. Bad!

Update 2. Oh boy:
Donald J. Trump @realDonaldTrump Based on the fraud committed by Senator Ted Cruz during the Iowa Caucus, either a new election should take place or Cruz results nullified. 9:28 AM - 3 Feb 2016

“Breitbart says they have a bombshell on Cruz to be released today. They say itâs a game changer and a huge story!Corruption”
The question is, what time today? I’m dying of curiosity. It had better be good.
Right. Because this didn't happen.
Re post #89.Great post completely agree. Every time he mentions Pres. Reagan I cringe. Cruz is a big phoney.
>>But no one running for office should ever complain about dirty tricks like when voting machine defaulted to Obama regardless of your vote or how Philly and Cleveland got over 100% votes for Obama. /s Right!
That is voter fraud. It is against the law and is quite different from a dirty trick like lying to some other candidates LIVs.
Meaningless. The polls for the Iowa caucus are usually very inaccurate for several of the candidates. Santorum was far down in the polls when he won in 2012. And, Trump was ahead in most all polls this go round, and Cruz second.
The polls have no meaning for the logic you're trying to apply as to how large Carson's vote should have been, or not.
Cruz knew not to hit Trump head on, so he used Dr. Carson instead....looks pretty damaging to Cruz in my eyes...

Mrs. Carson was asked about this by another reporter and she said Dr. Carson just left to go get ‘fresh clothes’....
CARSON did want to go to New Hampshire because all of his paid staff quite and joined the CRUZ campaign in mid-January...
Cruz has the armor of God strapped on...God will not be mocked.
Just imagine if they find that Cruz wrote in a book that he slept with a bunch of married women. That would be yuuuuuuge!
Incidentally, I'm not even a "Cruz supporter." As I've said many times, I'd be happy with either Trump or Cruz as a nominee just as long as we don't get Rubio or Jeb. Trump's behavior isn't making this task any easier.
Total agreement with your statement:

Strange you would need a corruption story to drive an ineligible candidate out of the race. Just shows how cowed and PCed our media is these days.
LOL And Cruz was actually INVOLVED in 2000.
Is history planning to repeat itself (ahem Or maybe I should say is CRUZ planning for history to repeat itself)?
America is a very different country than it was 15 years ago. We’ve got not only communists, but Arabs this close, with the knives in their hands.
We can’t afford it & it is not worth the risk.
It was Hillary and Bernie that had the 2000 moment this time.
AB would be sick that his outfit is attacking true conservatives.
Trump has always been this way. It just gets covered up by his fan club. He's been tweeting the "F" bomb for years about "losers and haters."
Why is Trump so worried about Carson's votes? Did he really think they were going to vote for HIM - after all those things he said about Carson's childhood, family, and even his faith conversion?
The same people who are on here outraged about Carson's votes are the same ones who absolutely followed Trump when he was saying the vilest things about Ben Carson.
+ a million! Thank you!
>> He is a master of media and people manipulation <<
Sure, and the TV audiences and other low info voters will continue to love it for a while.
But any fad will eventually burn itself out, just as any hit song will eventually drop off the Top 40 List. Or just as the Cabbage Patch Dolls eventually ceased to be the number one topic on TV news coverage back in the 1980’s.
Therefore, I believe the media will stop giving Trump so much free coverage when the audience finally loses interest — something the TV nets will know from the minute-to-minute Nielsen ratings and so forth.
But will Trump’s fall from grace occur before or after the GOP Convention? Only a fool will predict.
He admitted a mistake was made because the initial news report from CNN was inaccurate.
You need to take a deep breath and get ahold of yourself... your guy lost. Stop rationalizing and you’ll heal sooner. And when we talk about “blindly supporting someone,” none are more blind than the followers of Trump.
Is all this instability really coming from Trump? The worst ones all seem to be tweats posted from ‘sources’ like CNN, the Guardian, el Reuters etc.
It would be better if Trump “statements” posted on FR were restricted to what he actually says publicly in NH for example.
