This story is developing. Please check back for further updates.
Dr. Paul is a thoughtful guy and smart enough to know his campaign didn’t catch fire...at times it seemed like his heart wasn’t in it.
Enemy?
A political opponent?
Even though, I would not vote for Rand Paul for President, if I lived in Kentucky, I would vote for him for Senator.
There is no one running on the Republican side, I would describe as “My Enemy”.
Even JEB.
I know this is blasphemy to some but.............
I have a bad feeling that Jeb will stay in until the convention, thinking his NWO globalist backers will help him cheat his way to the nomination.
I think you are correct. My prediction 7-10 days ago on one of 2nd Division Vet’s threads, was that Cruz would win Iowa, finish third in New Hampshire, and win both South Carolina and Nevada. My thought was that Trump exits after Nevada, being exposed as a loser in presidential politics. My thought was Trump finishes second in New Hampshire.
Trump’s ego won’t allow him to be a perpetual loser.

P.S. My thought (7-10 days ago) was that Kasich will win NH.
I don’t think Rove is working for Jeb?!....Rove did help put W in the White House...
I didn’t think Rand was an enemy per se. More or less a distraction, and what his state does isn’t my business.
I do, however, believe that Jeb as part of a legacy RINO establishment that has appeased, taxed, taken our freedoms and abetted Democrats to enslave us IS!
If you don’t think so, that is okay. We’ll just have to differ.
Cruz is... was... the second-most libertarian candidate in the race, after Paul. His NH play has always been going after evangelicals and libertarians, Paul dropping out will be a plus. Rubio isn't particularly libertarian and Sanders is an all-out statist.
Remember, Cruz isn't competing against Trump in NH, he's trying to beat Rubio.
I agree with you. Even if we don’t agree on every issue, I like Rand Paul. Also, Jeb?! Did a decent job in Fla, as far as I can tell...he just didn’t come out of the gate in 2016 nearly as prepared and ready as he needed to be...
ISIS: You know, you’re right.
Delegate count at this point means nothing. The system is designed to limit the number of delegates altogether and more specifically the number that any one candidate receives.
At this stage, it’s all about viability and momentum, going into the larger winner-take-all states in March and beyond.
...”OPERATION KNEE-CAP”
Yes, forgot that NH is an open primary...could be interesting!
If Jeb’s last name wasn’t Bush, he probably would have been a good choice in 2008.
But the world has changed a lot in 8 years, and Jeb is now nearly a decade past his political “peak”. He’s the wrong man at the wrong time now.
I see Cruz a very close 2nd in NH to Trump, maybe even eek out a win with the infusion of Pail and Huckabee supporters.
Ted has the ground game working in a number of states. It showed in Iowa how he will win the nomination.
If Christie, Kasich, and Fiorina are all in single digits after NH, they will have to get out due to lack of funds.
Jeb will stay in it because the GOPe will do anything and everything to derail Cruz and Trump with a brokered convention to get Jeb as the nominee.
Before Super Tuesday comes along, it should be down to three. Trump, Cruz, Rubio.
If Cruz wins it means a vicious battle in S.C. with a ton of negative sound bites from both sides to use in the general.
Rubio presents a demographic problem for the left.
Trump they hate.
Cruz they think they can form a narrative on.
Remember...these are the same folks who gave us Obama...TWICE!
They are not to be underestimated. And the base for Cruz just solidified with the endorsements little Donny just received.
Get a hold of something ... and hang on tight.
Also sorry to see this. However, Rand has tried too hard to ingratiate himself with the Washington Establishment. In Iowa, he just could not capture his father’s supporters.
Good point. Its been a while since I lived in NH. I am sure its changed a little since the early 90s.
If nothing else, he will be humiliated by losing big in the south.
I am going to predict a Rubio/Kasich ticket in Nov.
As I’ve stated many times, I don’t care for any of these guys. I think the entire system is corrupt. The President is not going to change Congress. Without expecting more out of Congress, nothing is going to change.
I read and post on these things as a interesting exercise.
Cruz has a whole lot more in his arsenal than religion. He’s already got a huge chunk of Paul voters on board.
Premature to say that. If Trump is still +20 by the weekend, it's not going to be close. If it gets down to +10 or so, the ground game difference may wind up mattering. Again, Cruz's main objective is trying to beat Rubio, not Trump, in New Hampshire.
