Wednesday, February 3, 2016: GOP Presidential candidate Donald Trump will hold a campaign rally in Little Rock, AR at Barton Coliseum at 5:00 PM CST.
Little Rock is the capital and the most populous city of the U.S. state of Arkansas. It is also the county seat of Pulaski County. It was incorporated on November 7, 1831 on the south bank of the Arkansas River very near the geographic center of the state. The city derives its name from a rock formation along the river, named "La Petite Roche" by the French in 1799. The capital of the Arkansas Territory was moved to Little Rock from Arkansas Post in 1821. The city's population was 193,524 at the 2010 census.

That is the other lie he made a commercial about the day before the caucus. Rush was repeating it all day long as well as playing the commercial that he was for Obamacare the day of the caucus.
There was obviously a two pronged strategy to soften Trump voters and go after Carson voters. Both of them done by lying.

Yes, we have Big Red. It used to be the most popular thing here back in the 60’s and 70’s. The Big Red plant was in San Antonio. I didn’t know other places had it besides TX.

None taken. I guess I’m trying to figure out the whole emphasis on this religious purity/beliefs thing this election cycle..not just amongst voters, and on FR, but within the politicos, and who ends up endorsing who.

No tot mention that most all of the AM radio jocks were peddling the same drivel. We heard it here, from Michael Berry, and I’ve read posts that other hosts were pushing the same. They all likely got their memos (and ad $$!!).
Were the people who left for Conservative Circle mostly Catholics? I wasn’t aware of this site. I stopped participating in Religion threads a while ago because of the contentiousness, which was very much like that of the Cruz/Trump feud.
I think all ideological battles on FR, and perhaps everywhere, have become more intense and emotional. I don’t really know why. Perhaps because when religious fervor is involved, the battle becomes different in nature, and the Trump/Cruz battle became religious in some cases. Several times on the Religion threads I have tried to point out that we are all Christians who proclaim to be Christians, since that is all the Bible says we need to do to be a Christian (the rest being internal), but was ignored. Some even ridiculed that Bible-based point of view.

I have never listened to Rush but I had a lot of respect for him, due to what I knew about him from FR. I can’t believe he has done this. They couldn’t get him off the air so they bought him out?

No, it’s a mixed bag, and some who went still post here, mostly nasty attacks against Trump supporters.
