Limbaugh told listeners that he felt like a “lone wolf” for appreciating Rubio, because so many people were angry at him for pursuing amnesty in the Senate with the Gang of Eight

To rallies? It means that he wants to see a full crowd. More important, he wants the cameras to see a full crowd.

I have not listened to Rush in about a week now. If he really is warming up to Rubio than Rush does not want real change in Washington. I have listened to Rush since 1990 and this really surprises me.

I don’t think any of us here, have heard or read Trump saying that. I suppose you’re also going to say that Trump likes and trusts the leader of N. Korea too?

TRUMP: Vladimir Putin's praise is 'a great honor'

Business Insider ^ | December 17, 2015 | By Maxwell Tani

Republican US presidential front-runner Donald Trump is apparently "honored" that Russian President Vladimir Putin considers the real-estate magnate a "flamboyant" and "very talented" man.

"It is always a great honor to be so nicely complimented by a man so highly respected within his own country and beyond," Trump said in a statement, according to Politico.

He continued: "I have always felt that Russia and the United States should be able to work well with each other towards defeating terrorism and restoring world peace, not to mention trade and all of the other benefits derived from mutual respect."

Trump: Well, I think our country does plenty of killing also, Joe, so, you know. There's a lot of stupidity going on in the world right now, Joe. Lot of killing going on, a lot of stupidity, and that's the way it is.

"Trump's relationship with Russia goes far back. In 1987, before the collapse of the Soviet Union, he was meeting with Soviet officials and negotiating the building of "luxury hotels" in Moscow and Leningrad .

A story at the time said Trump had met Soviet Ambassador Yuri Dubinin, who mentioned how much his daughter had admired the "opulent" Trump Tower in New York City. This led to an invitation to Trump to visit the USSR. The story said Dubinin wrote a letter to Trump, who hosted a meeting with Soviet officials in New York.

The invitation to Moscow was issued by Intourist, the giant Soviet in-country travel organization which operated all the hotels for foreigners in the Soviet Union.

Intourist was created in 1929 by Joseph Stalin and run by KGB officials. Intourist hotels were designed for wealthy foreigners, and virtually all the Intourist guides were KGB informers. In fact, one aspect of their jobs was the recruitment of foreigners. ..."

"...we are left thinking [whether] Trump understands the aggressive intentions of Vladimir Putin.

"...when Trump was asked about the nuclear balance with Russia during the most recent Republican presidential debate, he displayed ignorance of the decaying nature of the U.S. nuclear triad, which constitutes our ability to deter and survive a Russian nuclear first strike.

"Putin has just presided over a ceremony honoring the KGB's successor agencies, and the Russia Today (RT) propaganda channel has announced the grand opening of a "cultural center" dedicated to mass murderer Joseph Stalin.

It looks like Putin has outmaneuvered Obama and Trump. It is an opening for Trump's opponents, especially Senators Ted Cruz (R-TX) and Marco Rubio (R-FL). But do they have the courage to "follow the money" and hold Trump accountable for doing business with a criminal regime that threatens the survival of the United States? At the end of this money trail, they may find an explanation of why Trump is so reluctant to hold Putin responsible for his crimes.

I have a feeling this was taken waaaaaaay out of context. I think I’ll wait to see how it develops - Rush is too good at playing the crowd.

Can someone else come in here and debate this guy, I’m too busy at the moment, and tired too.

What is there to “debate”. Trump is either, a dangerously naive, ‘useful idiot’ buffoon, or someone in cahoots with the Russians.

He learned nothing, he’s still for amnesty.

Just listened to him on Hannity...

The guy make a huge mistake with the gang of eight...but he isn't for blanket amnesty...

He said: Secure the borders first, do immigration reform that can pass in the house and senate...which he admits is up to the american people to pass judgment on......

Then deal with the millions of illegals in the country...

Not perfect, but not amnesty...

Believe him at our peril. He is fully committed to accomodating the illegal aliens and their employers.

McCain will tell you he isn’t for amnesty, either.
Do you beieve him, too?

They were all gung ho for Trump as long as it suited their agendas.

Actually their warmth for Trump started to cool down when Trump started criticizing Ted Cruz for not getting along with the GOP Establishment, Pelosi and the democrats in Congress.

I don't trust Rubio at all. My preference is a President Ted Cruz. But we cannot ignore that Hillary would prefer to run against Cruz over running against Rubio.

I can see it now, Hillary Ads about Ted Cruz "having shut down the government".

Ted Cruz will respond with the truth that "only the President can shut down the government"

The next Hillary Ad will be a partial Ted Cruz sentence "the president can shut down the government, the president can shut down the government"

And idiots will probably buy it

I think Ted Cruz is such a straight, steady, honest man that people wonder if he's "too much like that to be true" therefore must be a fraud.

I've supported Ted Cruz since long before he ever announced that he would even think about running and I support him 100% now (1000% over Rubio).

He'd make an excellent President.

But you must admit, getting electied among the general American population may be a bit of a problem. Cruz needs to work on that.

We conservatives know where he stands on OUR issues.

Cruz needs to talk more about other issues and less about the defunding planned parenthood and repealing ObamaCare. Those two things seem to be the only two things he talks about.

Well, he's got us (conservatives). We know where he stands on those issues.

Though, I tend to agree...

It depends what and how the legislation is put together...

Personally, if your illegal parent(s) brought you into this country when you were a child and you have no criminal or drug history, speak English, now pay taxes as an adult, not on any public assistance at all ...basically an american without the credentials...

AKA: dreamers

I think it's fair to find a way to fast track you into citizenship...not granting citizenship, but earning it...and no relatives...pigging back...

You want to pass on citizenship...?

Put your ass on the first bus back to the rat hole your mother crawled out of...

Basically a one time shot to get legit...

How dare you give away MY country so easily. If over 18 they need to go home.

Everyone looks like a light weight amateur next to Trump.

I don’t think I would underestimate Trump if I were Putin or anyone else. The guy who has the most powerful military in the world, and greatest economy and is confident to begin with is not naïve and certainly not a useful idiot. Useful for what?

I’ve waited a long time, since REagan for someone like Trump. He is definitely an Andy Jackson type, who had people like you calling him names and doubting his intellect and courage.

Sorry, we’ll meet again next week and take up this discussion.

I suggest if you’re spend time witnessing Cruz why not do so with someone who’s mind you might change. You do the opposite. Listening to you makes starting to dislike Cruz, and I don’t want to do that.

He’s a nice guy, but a light weight. No body likes him in Congress. He admits he doesn’t want to compromise, and frankly he’s too young to be president.

And I haven’t even brought up the fact that he’s a Canadian Anchor Baby.

Good friggin grief. Trump is an emotionally immature, potentially very dangerous, naive (at best) fool. Putin wants him in for a reason.

I’m not surprised. This attitude has been prevalent for a long time. People don’t care when it happens to “the other guy”.

Is Rush getting pressure from some of his sponsors to praise Rubio? The amnesty issue is enough to oppose Rubio. But there are many more objections to Rubio.

I do not seem much energy in Rubio. He has these memorized speeches as he speed-talks, sounding more like a robot or somebody on speed.

What does Rush like about Rubio? I cannot think of one thing for this guy with no experience and no achievements.
