A day after the Iowa caucuses and a week from the New Hampshire primary, Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid is back blasting the lack of diversity in the states that come before his home of Nevada in the presidential nominating process.
Asked about the outcome in Iowa, where Sen. Bernard Sanders, I-Vt., finishing very narrowly behind former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Reid highlighted his role in changing the process to put more focus on the subsequent contests in states with more diverse Democratic electorates. His efforts helped move Nevada’s Democratic caucuses earlier in the electoral calendar.
Yes - conservative candidates, loony socialists and some in between - that’s the diversity that matters.
And I would be quite happy with less diversity in that regard by getting rid of the socialist/regressives from the mix.

I’m coming up on being an Old Lady - maybe I’m there already; and I’ve never seen a more VICIOUS and unpleasant person in Congress, than Harry Reid.

Why, yes Harry, I did see diversity in Iowa. I saw a Hispanic win the Republican caucus. I saw two Hispanics and an African-American combined win 60% of the Republican votes.
On the Democrat side— well, no.
Wasn’t Trump bragging about how he could work with Harry Reid?

There was diversity in the top four Republican candidates. 25% black, 50% Hispanic, 25% white. The historical slave owning democrat party candidates...not so much.

Harry is trying to get Nevada moved to first in the primary process by calling Iowa too white.
Nope there is no diversity in the Jackass party. Only the poverty pimps get a seat at the table along with other “victim” fringe groups and they call it diverse.
Meanwhile, the top tier candidates in Iowa on the GOP has plenty of diverse candidates and supporters.
On another note, “diversity” isn’t our strength and is only division. Our strength is in common values, the Constitution and our God-given rights and freedoms expressed within it.

Plenty of diversity on the Republican stage.
It does but I hear many here who don’t like those states starting either so maybe with both sides working together it will change and other states get a chance. Who knows. His reasoning in nuts though.
