Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz is lashing out at Marco Rubio and Donald Trump on immigration while facing New Hampshire voters for the first time since his Iowa caucus victory.
Cruz charged that Rubio led the fight for "amnesty" for immigrants in the country illegally. He also said Trump didn't do anything to fight immigration reform as the debate raged on Capitol Hill in 2013.

Every position Trump offered in 2015 was taken from an earlier position of Cruz’.
That is clearly documented.
Jeff Sessions says "Ted Cruz was on MY SIDE and fought this legislation all the way through".
Trump's immigration plan is a blatant ruse. He is a long time whore for the cheap labor express who has stood on his right to screw his workers out of their contract for twenty years. He is a proven abuser of the working man and you trust him.
I trust him the same as Cruz...meaning I don't trust either.

You ask us to believe that Cruz was telling the President what the position was to be. Was George W. Bush just a flunky following Ted Cruz’ orders?

Notice how Cruz “lashes out” at Trump and Rubio by attacking their policy positions, while Trump attacks Cruz because his speech was “far too long, rambling, [and] overly flamboyant”?
It’s substance vs. bluster, folks.
Policy positions? Like the Cruz campaign poll tested “Trump is a NY Liberal” smear? Is that the policy positions you refer to? Sorry, Cruz is dishing out as much as he’s receiving.

Sunday night Luntz was on interviewing a young caucus voter who said she was originally for Trump but turned away from him and became a strong Cruz supporter. But she said that after watching the exchange between Megyn and Cruz about immigration during the debate she turned away from Cruz because it appeared he wasn't being honest with his reply to Kelly. She said she was now a Rubio supporter and will never change.
Of course Luntz never pointed out to her that Megyn Kelly admitted Cruz was correct and telling the truth about the issue.
The whole segment appeared to be a set up to promote Rubio anyway, but still...
The "New York Values" 'smear' (as you call it) was based on Trump's own words, and his own prior positions.
