Sounding more like Armstrong (the liar) Williams story! Too bad Ben keeps this guy on the payroll.

Next, William will have Dr. Ben speaking before the "black lives matter" and Spike Lee, Jada Pinkett Smith crowd in Hollywierd, demanding a quotas on Primary top winners!

Cruz lied to win and it worked. Just own it.

Nothing to own. His campaign jumped on a CNN report and acted on it. Was the report misinterpreted? Probably. But to claim some cloak-and-dagger treachery is BS.

Yep, Carson hasn’t been really relevant since early on.

Nice guy, smart, Surgeon General material.

He is an ethical man who has every right to be pissed.

I don’t begrudge Cruz his win, but at what cost? The rest of the campaign will show if he too is a man of high ethics or if he will do whatever it takes to win.

“So that excuses team Cruz lying, by saying Carson is dropping out?”

Yes. Besides where did Cruz lie?

so am I. Perhaps he wanted to have this effect. Tell them I'm leaving.....your right, what were they suppose to think and all is fair when you leave the game.

Quarterback says hey guys, I'm stepping out for awhile...tell them I left. When I come back I will cry FOUL because we lost the game.

Hey Ben, you know what’s even more dirty? Running a glorified book tour and bilking suckers out of their cash.

This guy has some nerve... Maybe instead of your campaign buying your book in bulk as “campaign material” you should have invested in a ground game...

Carson had 26 votes out of 375 at my precinct. Maybe he would have received 27 had the dropping out thing not have been said.
Maybe Carson should learn how to run a better campaign; nice guy as he is.

A guy who thinks the pyramids in Egypt were built to store grain for example; is hard to take seriously.

“Cruz lied to win and it worked. Just own it.”

They cant hear you.

They are too buys ripping pages from the Bible and stuffing it in their ears so they may only hear the sweet word of God tell them “it’s ok, you still be my chosen people”.

It’s Carson’s responsibility to run an active, engaged campaign that leaves no doubt in his supporters minds about his commitment.

Exactly. The error was Carson's, in leaving any impression -- rightly or wrongly -- that he was in any way pausing his campaign. Cruz' people aggressively jumped on that report by CNN and sought to capitalize on it.

If Carson’s voters will listen to Ted Cruz advice on what their candidate is doing they probably shouldn’t be voting.

CNN had reported that Carson was going home after Iowa and was not going to NH or SC. It was not a big leap of logic to assume that meant he was dropping out. You can blame the Cruz people for getting it wrong (but then apparently so did Fox and CNN initially), but it is hardly dirty politics or cheating to tell Carson’s supporters what is being reported by the news media.

“Cruz lied to win and it worked. Just own it.”

He did and it explains him eking out that slim margin. But in the bigger picture we need Cruz to stay in this to keep Rubio off Trumps tail. If Cruz had finished second he’d be dead man walking into NH. I just hope his “win” provides enough momentum for a solid second over Rubio.

I guess no one watched the debate. Every single person was taking things Ted Cruz said out of context. And others as well. This is politics. This is what happens. Key is you need to get YOUR message out. If you can’t how can you beat the democrats next fall?

No credible candidate does what Carson did, sorry. Stay in the game to win. If you don’t, you can’t blame anyone for what happens in your absence.

No sympathy for Carson.

Same can be said about Trump. Cruz needs Trump to stay viable and attack Rubio.

My fear is the GOPe will get their guy because Cruz and Trump fight each other and not the GOPe candidate.

He has always been a GOP-e plant to suck votes from Cruz and Trump. He’s just not been a very competent one.
