The Tuco in me says he should be just doing it, rather than claiming with 7 days to go.

Trump doesn’t understand that the ground game gets people to the polls, not big all-you-can-eat rallys.

Sounds pretty optimistic.
Unless something changes it’s going to be Trump, Cruz and Rubio again and in that order.

Maybe there is a plan for those dirty tricks to be replicated in NH?

Cruz can't talk to voters in New Hampshire and lie about someone quiting ( See Dr. Carson) .
I bet Rubio beats Cruz in Second in New Hampshire and South Carolina

Was Cruz calling Trumpy a “nasty guy” who “nobody likes”?

Yes, it is optimistic. Aim high, and keep the momentum going. Now that Iowa has shown some canidates' campaigns to be effectively over, some oters may be up for grabs.
Trump is still the favorite in NH, but there is an opening for Cruz to exploit, and he has hardly ignored the state.

As it should! As a candidate, if my man in that role wasn’t optimistic, speaking blessing and not curse into the situation, I’d fire him.

The difference is...it’s a primary...not a caucus state and not subject to manipulation by a mole.

Ted's playing pretty dirty pool;
Carson accuses opponents of 'lies and dirty tricks'

Implying Carson is quitting and would be a wasted vote on caucus night is in the same category as the shaming mailer.

I expect it. There is a good percentage of gop in NH who say they will never vote for DT. Ted has GOTV in place. DT not so much. Cruz will use more ads against DT using his own words which are effective.
