Disgusting. The Cruz camp is slandering Donald Trump tonight at the GOP caucuses.
The Cruz precinct captain Tim Osborne smeared Trump tonight in Des Moines saying Trump was for abortion and amnesty just six months ago. Six months ago Donald Trump was already running for president. And he’s reading his talking points.
It looks like the Cruz folks will stop at nothing. Sad.

I wasn’t aware of Cruz’s birth/background until about two weeks ago.

Jeb’s pac has already spent a ton in SC attacking Rubio. The ‘weather vane’ ad was my favorite. I’m in SC and I know the people here will vote for Trump. Trump just needs to keep doing what he’s been doing.

It is ideological purity that is being played here. I think it is a strategy to divide us. What is most incredible is this purity test will be applied to thinking years ago and to things that don’t exist. The candidate with the greatest ideological purity may not have the voter appeal to win the Presidency. Ideology must be presented in a way that appeals to people’s pragmatic sense of things. To present it as some kind of pie in the sky idealism turns people off if they can’t understand the pragmatic principles. The Conservative that best presents conservative principles wins. People need to be patient and not Puritans about this.
