Trump congratulates Ted Cruz
Thanks Iowans for their support, and says he loves them ( he might even buy a farm there )
Gives his appreciation to all other candidates especially Huckabee ( who suspended his campaign )
Looks forward to New Hampshire ( where he has a huge lead ) and South Carolina ( likewise )

We need Jebbie to stay in to stall Rubio.

Trump went in up by 5

A classy 2nd place finisher statement. Contrast that with the propped-up puppet Rubio - who place 3rd and made a victory speech.
Yet another reason why I'd be happy with either Cruz or Trump, but would not vote for Rubio.

Can you stop the nastiness. It is so beneath FR. I agree. It's amazing how rude some FReepers are with their smarmy arrogant attempts at humor. They're probably the same jerks who punch coaches in the face at girl's softball games.

This thread about a Trump speech is useless without a link :)

A class act.?
Is that in comparison to his low class act that has gone on for so long?
Yeah a class act. But you go right on and cover whatever needs to be NO-class and UN-gracious. You'll find that Trump supporters are going to be gracious and congratulating Cruz just like Trump did, which begs the question "would we see such classy behavior out of the likes of you had TRUMP won?"

It was a nice speech. I’m glad to see them being nice to each other, even if it is just for tonight :)

If John Ellis Bush stays in for Florida, he may do it JUST to punish Rubio. He is more likely to stick around. He has money, and Christie and Kasich have decent day jobs.

A sign that Cruz is still on Trump’s VP shortlist? Could be.

Sooo Clever you are...
Make FR look soo classy.

No candidate wants to say they aren’t going to win. However, it’s all about the delegates. Wow, you Cruzbots are a crappy bunch of people.

Well, there’s still the issue of Cruz being a Natural Born Citizen that Trump keeps harping on....
