Next debate in 5 days in NH on ABC. Trump now can’t afford to duck that. Fox won’t be there to hit him on issues. ABC may or may not. But I bet Ted will hit him on issues. Religious issues may not sell in NH, but Ted can hit him there on Tea Party issues, on TrumpCare, etc.

You’re getting very carried away. The man can speak for himself, and as I said, last I checked, “Go Cruz, Go Trump” was more like it. And no, I don’t despise Cruz or Trump.
Apparently this morning before the caucus there was a Microsoft/Rubio theory that claimed they would vote-switch enough to put Trump in second, not first, and Rubio a close third.

Cruz has a far better chance of winning the general than Hillary.

I think his religious acey-deceyism is genuine, not any political calculation, there are many more Catholics in Florida than Baptists.
Most tellingly, he went Mormon as a KID and somehow got his mom to go along, that’s really weird.
