A search shows that nobody's opened up a live thread for tonight's caucuses. So here goes.
Predictions? For both the GOP and Dem nominations?
Eyewitness Accounts? See any funny business going on?
Washington post;
The Iowa Democratic Party reports only State Delegate Equivalents (SDEs), not vote counts. SDEs predict the share of Iowaâs national delegates that will be pledged to each candidate.
Yeah, I’m not for Trump, but he seems to be giving a good speech. And he kept it brief, unlike Rubio’s “victory” speech.
Yup. Trump only lost from the high expectations of the polls in IA the last few days. Cruz got the caucus turnout we heard he might.
It’s not a straight easy vote. In those states I expect Trump to win.
This is a good lesson if Trump wants to grow from this
Are you in need of a tissue? Thorazine?
CSPAN 89% of Precincts reporting 9.45 PM CST
Hillary 49.9% 19 delegates Bernie 49.4% 20 delegates
Trump kept it classy...he knows he did what he needed to do.
Yes! Thank you Trump for the wonderful and gracious speech.
>>>Trump probably told Huckabee he would help with his campaign debt if he showed up at his rally on Thursday night<<<
Yeah, probably. /s
How about, Huckabee is a Patriot who truly cares about our Veterans and decided to support the Rally in their Honor.
Do I have to add HDS to my Tagline now?
Per Google Sanders now up TWO delegates over Clinton, but behind 0.2% on votes. (89% reporting)
.
Cruz currently out-polls both Bernie and Hitlery in CA.
No other Republican comes close.
Rush is right, when you run a conservative they win.
kids, teachers and such as were, you still need to feed them. But ultimately you are right, even if sanctimoniously so, should have sent them to private school, sadly not an option.
To me, it’s kind of funny how some of us get so vehement about who we will NEVER support in a primary. Maybe it’s because, as someone living in PA, personally for me it doesn’t matter. Our primary is so late that it never matters who I support; whoever will be the nominee is always running away with it by then. As far as I’m concerned, Hillary and the Marxist Left are The Enemy(tm). I’ll vote for whoever we nominate, because if history is any guide, that will be settled long before I get to cast a primary vote.
Perfect speech. Nothing but gratitude for the Iowans, all his smart and lovely family up there. Trump did it right, no sore loserdom. Short, grateful, and sweet.
.2% difference. LOSE HITLERY! Lose!
Commie > Crook
[I believe three of those delegates go unpledged; the state chair and two national committee members.]
The Super delegates are how the GOPe candidates plan to win the nomination.
I’m not sure if it is something new but tonight’s thread had an extraordinary number of Trump supporters that are clearly anti-Christian.
***
I dunno. I haven’t read the full thread, but I remember on earlier threads I locked horns with a LOT of people who claimed to be Cruz supporters but were acting like painfully stereotypical liberal parodies of Christians.
Vote Cruz or else you go to Hell, et cetera.
25% of Dummies are 2nd amendment types
100% are nuts
The true take-away.
What will be interesting is to hear Trump respond about tonight....., can’t wait. What attacks can he dig up to hit Cruz with now?
