A bioethicist is a person who goes around telling biotechnologists that what they’re doing is wrong —like engineering crop strains that require less water, or that can endure pesticide levels.

And the funny thing is that the one job in which we really REALLY need bioethicists to speak up on —namely that we shouldn’t take innocent life as fodder for extension of others lives— there is HUGE pressure for them to SHUT THE HELL UP.

And by and large THEY DO.

It's someone who tells you that it's okay to kill tens of millions of little babies in the name of "choice." You need them so that you can point to an "expert" to justify your participation in mass murder.

And your "expert" will be someone who doesn't know how much debt they contracted to get the little piece of paper that says they're experts on ethics.

A bioethicist is one who thinks they are a superior person capable of passing judgment on others. The bio qualifier is one I hear from those a lot in the medical field - they want to help people. Another superior person pretense as if other jobs don't help people.
