Speaking on the frosted tundra of the Dubuque, Iowa regional airport, Donald Trump returned to Iowa to a hero's welcome as his hulking Boeing 757 staged a dramatic flyby before landing on a tiny airstrip.
Then he offered children the chance to run through the airplane.
'This is now crunch time!' he told screaming fans gathered at the mouth of a hangar. 'This is what it's all about. We have to get out there and caucus and do all the things we have to do, otherwise we've just wasted our time.'
Then he said he had 'a little bit of an idea,' asking if there were kids under age 10 present.
'Without their parents,' Trump insisted, 'we'll let them run through the plane!'

When I was four years old, I lived right off the end of the runway at Carswell AFB where they were based; when they took-off, the earth shook.
It was glorious.

He has done a great job with his kids. I was very skeptical of him until I started watching The Apprentice ten years ago and saw how well those adult kids turned out. Then I saw how supportive he was of the varied talents of his contestants. I noticed how everyone of the contestants called him "Mr. Trump" with an air of genuine respect. Then I noticed how many women and people of color he included on the show, and how one of his best, winningest contestants was a woman close to 80 years old. He demonstrated great skill at mentoring people, even though he cultivates this gruff exterior. So my view of him began to change over the years.

It’s actually the Former Spruce Goose Geodesic Hangar Dome in Long Beach Harbor, CA (I was trying to scare some anti-Trump supporters—shhhhh!).

Daddy Warbucks has signed over 500,000 paychecks on the front in the real world economy of main street America.
Cruz has signed ZERO. Cashing government checks all his life.
Rubio has signed ZERO. Cashing government checks all his life.
Jeb Bush may have signed his nanny’s checks.
Carson has signed zero.
Fiorino & Kasich were EMPLOYEES, not entrepreneurs.
Kasich’s employer, Lehman Bros went Belly up.
Fiorina almost destroyed HP and laid off thosands of employees.
Rand Paul ran a medical clinic.
Daddy warbucks looks grand in comparison.

Trump leached huge tax abatements for every one of his projects. One tax abatement was for approximately $100 million. That was a huge leach on the backs of the taxpayer's of New York City... Sadly, you will now make up some excuse for this corruption.Your claim is meaningless without a comparison to all other buildings developed in that time frame in that location, whether they received a similar break; and also whether NYC netted a positive tax flow from the upscale tenants who moved in. NYC now has some of the most astronomical real estate values in the world -- apartments and office spaces going for $15 and $17 million dollars, which would bring high ongoing financial stream to the surrounding economy from tenants able to afford high rents and from the settlement fees on such big-ticket space purchases, etc -- so your concern has to be evaluated in light of all the facts, not just the initial tax structure.
