I trust in God but I also loathe Trump.
I agree. We were actually able to talk and analyze on the debate thread last night - often disagreeing, but respectfully - and it was really nice. As soon as the Trump fans got out of their event, it was full scale attack and abuse. Why do they feel they have to do this?
I think it makes them feel better about their choice. After all it’s what Trump does so it must be okay.
It’s not about the reporter. We have no idea if he’s a good or bad person.
It’s about a man running for president who would mock a handicapped person.
Just like it’s not about Megyn Kelly. I know nothing about her private life. She could be a bimbo or even a prostitute, but that does not make it okay for a grown man to let himself get obsessed with a woman he thinks insulted him. She’s just a tv personality. He’s a wealthy dude running for president. How much time has he devoted to her?
It’s not really that sane.
Not only is it not that sane, it’s flat out insane.
This is what scares me about the Trump mentality.
Apparently it is obvious to any dispassionate observer that Trump mocked a reporter’s handicap.
Okay, he didn’t cut off anyone’s head or beat 50 puppies with a hammer but he did do that one thing.
Any criticism of Trump sets off some sort of trigger in the Trump follower’s brain, forcing him or her to say things like, “ Your a liar. Jeb campaign. You are a coward and a liar.”
What is immoral about protecting our borders.....from illegals, terrorists, etc
What is immoral about getting rid of common core
What is immoral about bombing the crapola out of Isis...(Pastor Jeffress liked that so much he used it in a sermon)
What is immoral about being prolife.....Trump says he is
What is immoral about bringing jobs back to millions of our citizens
What is immoral about honoring our Vets and building up our military
Trump has been taking incoming for 7 months, 24/7......God bless him
And every day he gets up and presses on towards the goal
I believe God is using and can use this man to bring good to our struggling nation.
I pray for him daily.
Well, I think he said he didn’t know the reporter was handicapped. Even so, none of us are guaranteed not to be offended occasionally. In fact, the entire concept of being offended by free speech is offensive to the first amendment and is simply feeding into the left’s agenda. Maybe we should stone Trump to death for offending the Muslims?
Oh, Jim!!
Yep... I agree.
He did say that, Sir
He said he did not know.
Did I say something false?
This politically correct mindset is something many handicapped people resent. They don't want to be marginalized and condescended to like they were fragile little dolls, in need of our "protection." They don't want the rest of us to walk on eggshells around them. They really aren't as fragile and delicate as you make them out to be.
I think some of Trump's popularity and appeal lies in the fact that he treats everybody equally. Whether you are a black, a white, an Hispanic, a woman or a handicapped person, it does not matter to Donald Trump. He is not a "walking on eggshells" kind of guy. People find that very refreshing.
I must say that Donald did know the reporter, they were on a first name basis in NYC, he had interviewed donald several times in his office. I am on my phone or would post link, but one can google that info, it is true.
Of course, donald still denies knowing him but he is lying. I truly hope people can see that.
that I will do...;-)
The child...
“I’m pro-life, but I changed my view a number of years ago,” Trump told his interviewer. “One of the reasons I changed — one of the primary reasons — a friend of mine’s wife was pregnant, in this case married.
“She was pregnant and he didn’t really want the baby. And he was telling me the story. He was crying as he was telling me the story. He ends up having the baby and the baby is the apple of his eye. It’s the greatest thing that’s ever happened to him. And you know here’s a baby that wasn’t going to be let into life. And I heard this, and some other stories, and I am pro-life.”
One question that popped into my mind. I fell in love the moment I saw my son. Just fell in love. Why didn’t the birth of his own wonderful children change his POV?
Another discussion...

What part of securing the border, securing the nation, defending God, religious freedom, gun rights, home, family, country, local education, capitalism, lower taxes, fewer regulations, better trade deals, better economy, more jobs, stronger military do you feel are not on your side?
You know if he does that, then I will have been wrong. But I’d guess that about 7 of those are just rhetoric to gain the office. If he gets elected.... I certainly hope that my suspicion was wrong.
What mother? Wasn’t the alleged “victim” of Trump’s alleged mocking some guy who is a reporter?
