There was no avoiding it, and Fox News Channel didn't really try: Megyn Kelly was the star of the show at Thursday's Republican presidential debate in Des Moines.
Kelly, of course, is a big reason that GOP front-runner Donald Trump refused to participate. Ever since their run-in at the first primary debate in August, Trump has maintained that Kelly is a "lightweight" who doesn't ask fair questions. (Never mind that he previously said she's a great moderator.) Unreasonable as Trump's critique might be, all eyes were on Kelly and her questions in Des Moines.

The way she argued with Cruz last night was disgusting...because she didn't understand what he was saying! Later, with nobody listening she admitted she was wrong.
“She a ho.”
You know, gunner, the Miss Black America contest has always had trouble getting a candidate to show from one state in particular. The potato state: Idaho of all places, it’s the darnedest thing, see uh ..... OK
(It’s a joke, AdMod—don’t get your thong in a twist.)
Put some glasses on him and he has a slight resemblance to Pajama Boy.
“When will the Democrats face your great debate moderator ??”
That has been my question as well.
send her to cnn
I didn't watch this debate or any others.
This is the problem. A moderator SHOULD NOT be "the star" of any debate. In fact, they should be as invisible as possible. The stars were on stage presenting their case to the American people. Megyn Kelly is not a star, she is a media whore, nothing more.
These debates should be moderated by some college professor who is educated in the ways of a proper debate.
Who the heck is Callum Borchers?
Who reads The Post?
Prison bull dyke ...
Who was she biased against last night? Rubio and Cruz are the establishment and grass-roots leads, and she used negative videos against both.
I didn’t like the video gambit because it’s so easy to take a short video quote out of context and yet give it the unfair weight of “truth” because it’s “caught on tape.” She didn’t need to use those gotcha tactics to ask the question.
I have no idea...I was just referring to the Washington Post itself....
I think she’s a truly great interviewer but the format of a lot of these questions wasn’t appropriate for a debate with such short answer times allowed. And the constant pre-selected pairing of two candidates in the questions to try to force a fight was stupid, although I think Wallace did that more. If the candidates want to fight with each other, they’ll call each other out by name themselves.
If the Washington ComPost says something, you can be sure it’s bull$**t.
Leave Megyn alone. Waaaaaaa!
I didn’t watch any of them either, mainly because none of them are actual debates.
That’s exactly the point being overlooked!
Amen.
And everyone keeps thinking being nasty to republicans is balanced.
Could she be donating to the dark side? And what would that mean? And don’t something like 90% of journalists claim the democrats?
Two of the three moderators will be excited to vote for Bernie. One is still with Hill.
Pray America wakes
[.that hairdo makes her look like a diesel-dyke! ;-)]
I like that description, sort of like Madcow on pmsnbc.
Megyn (ME AGAIN) Kelly is the biggest narcissist on Fox News. If she had put debaters, audience and Fox first she would have absented herself and let one of the truly beautiful unbiased ladies have the spot.
