The evil idiot wants to shame companies into equalizing pay by sex and race, regardless of the skill levels of the jobs.

I am sure the data will also be posted on public websites so that the aggrieved will be able to see exactly what all of their colleagues are being paid.

It’s Alinsky Community Organizer 101.

These Federal contractors will do whatever their customer wants to get the contract. They will just up the price a little to cover it.

If there really was a gender gap, companies would hire more women to save money.

For true parity, men should get paid paternity leave just the same way women do. After all, biology is a racist/sexist construct now.

So, uh, if there is x-gendered entity, do they get double pay?

Employers should encourage their female employees to “identify” as men. Voila, gender gap closed!

I have a question regarding the first sentence: Can he?

Can a president just tell people they have to do something because he says so? I think not. Now, if congress passes a law, never mind.

What an ignorant and arrogant little sh*t.

Fewer women will be hired.

How long before the Feds take control of all the private businesses? Will the Republicans push back on this overwhelming overreach?? Stay tuned, Freedom lovers, I don’t hold out much hope.

But it’s NOT the same work!

That garbage about women being paid less is from a huge pool of “workers”. Not shocking that women work less, and have fewer of the high-paying professional jobs.

I have zero complaints about my pay while I was an engineer. Although, I wasn’t trying to find out how much everyone was paid. But anyway, I was satisfied.

In many ways people set their own pay. I’ve talked with HR people who always try to get people at as low a salary as possible. In general, women are willing to accept less money than men during negotiations for that all important ‘Starting Salary in your first real job.” Why? Who knows why. It’s just a fact. HR people are put into a bind because it’s their job to save money, not help the PC crowd get political victories.

In another side note, HR companies absolutely love when they get qualified minorities. It’s a breath of fresh air. Everyone is doing their part but, the problem is many minorities aren’t the best candidates and again, is it the job of the HR department to solve some social issue? No. It’s their job to get highly qualified candidates.

All the Feds can do is screw it all up, like they usually do. People are in control of their own lives. It’s just that simple.

They want EQUAL and report MEDIAN?

I found apples in my orange juice this morning.

...noting that the median wage for women amounts to 79 percent of that for men.

I wonder what the 'median' job is for both genders?

Once work experience, occupation and hours of work are taken into account, there is no pay gap between men and women.
