That's just it. When you lie and to prove it you admit you lied, no one knows when you're not lying.

I don't care if Sessions was part of the lie or not. Sessions doesn't add validity to a lie by also lying.

They both admit to making a proposal under false pretenses. Even Cruz knows that's not a simple white lie...It's fraud.

Sessions wants current immigration laws enforced so he is covering for Cruz now that Cruz appears to be on Sessions side. But if you watch Cruz in his own words, it's very clear he favored legalization. And everyone with a brain knows that legalization will lead to citizenship either via the courts or the Rats.

What Crosscutsaw said to me (post 18) after I asked this question is that Cruz’s admendent really trashed the Gang of 8s bill because with the admendment the illegals could have come “out of the shadows” but without being citizens i.e. voters. So this caused the bill to collapse.

Although I’n not sure why they didn’t pass it without Cruz’s admendment but I don’t know any details about the gonigs on in Congress.
