My point is that in the grand scheme it doesn’t matter what happened in this case. The Boston Massacre wasn’t, the English were found not guilty. But it didn’t change the paradigm of injustice that existed. Don’t call me a jerk.

Anyone who puts words in another poster's mouth is a jerk. Deal with it.
And this incident does matter. I really hope the guy who got shot did not charge the cops. But if he did, it discredits what other things he was doing.

And besides, his cause was just. Don’t compare him to Michael Brown. Fail.

If you charge a cop, odds are you are going to get shot. So if he did charge the cops, the comparison to Michael Brown is entirely valid.

Kind of, but ...
He’s not brown [sorry, kind of]
He did not try to grab cops gun
He was not on a clear, paved street.
He did not return to attack after running away.

Can’t we get above that 100% somehow?
The Fed is doing it!

The key element is if the guy charged the cop.
Micheal Brown would still be alive if he had not done that.
Has nothing to do with their respective virtues, or in Brown's case, lack thereof.

(The above is not a statement of fact. It is either satire or opinion. Or both.)
And then there's this from the article...
That's when, authorities say, Finicum reached down toward his waistband where he had a gun.
There are many youtube videos showing LaVoy.
While I did not watch all of the videos, I did take the time to watch many.
In all of them that I watched he wore a holster.
Did he suddenly begin sticking a gun in his waistband?
I just don't know...

Oregon is especially culpable. Portland has tolerated “Dignity Village” for years, and the money spent cleaning up after Occupy Wall Street groups is staggering.
