The rumors are swirling... Two Republican candidates reportedly called Donald Trump and said they wanted to attend his veterans fundraiser tonight at Drake University.

Trump Zombieland is a psychedelic resort reserved for those who support donors of the Clintons, Reid, Shumer and Pelosi. Obviously, no one here fits that bill, I am sure.
The specific accusation that Trump leveled against Vander Plaats is that Vander Plaats asked for $100K to arrange for Trump to come speak at an Iowa event that he, generously, was willing to do. Vander Plaatsâ response was that it was Trump, in fact, who was paid the massive speaking fee, and that he (Vander Plaats) got nothing.
You don’t think Ronald Reagan was Conservative?
No, Trump has bragged of affairs with MARRIED women. Quite a difference. Jane Wyman LEFT Ronald Reagan, devastating him, for the record.
“The best part about Trump Zombieland, Boardwalk, is when you enter you donât know you are there. Quite a feat he pulled off!”
Yep!
Kabar: Who gives a damn?
Obviously not "conservatives" like you and the Log Cabin RINOs who've infested The Party(tm)
How's that demoralization thing workin' for ya?
"According to my opinion, and the opinions of many defectors of my caliber, only about 15% of time, money, and manpower is spent on espionage as such. The other 85% is a slow process which we call either ideological subversion, active measures, or psychological warfare. What it basically means is: to change the perception of reality of every American that despite of the abundance of information no one is able to come to sensible conclusions in the interest of defending themselves, their families, their community, and their country. It's a great brainwashing process which goes very slow and is divided into four basic stages. The first stage being "demoralization".It takes from 15 to 20 years to demoralize a nation. Why that many years? Because this is the minimum number of years required to educate one generation of students in the country of your enemy exposed to the ideology of [their] enemy. In other words, Marxism-Leninism ideology is being pumped into the soft heads of at least 3 generation of American students without being challenged or counterbalanced by the basic values of Americanism; American patriotism...."--KGB Defector Yuri Bezmenov--Soviet Subversion of the Free Press (Ideological subversion, Destabilization, CRISIS - and the KGB)
Trump has also been a supporter of and donor to all sorts of radical leftist monsters, and by association, their causes. He is a ruthless liar who tries to destroy everyone who gets in his path. There have been many such charlatans throughout history. Nothing new with Donald.
There is, in fact, no real litmus test for Conservatism; as will be obvious to anyone with a brief reflection. Conservatism is--and always has been, as the word connotes--about preserving what one considers important, in one's social, cultural, historic and genetic heritage. One person will be more focused on one aspect, another on another. There is no natural law that demands we all have the same focus--indeed, the very notion flies in the face of the concept that man is Blessed with free will; freedom to decide his priorities--and, of course, take the consequences.
The fact that National Review saw fit to attack Trump says very little that is good about National Review. Has Trump advocated some non-Conservative things in the past? To be sure. Does he take a popular, as opposed to an academic & philosophic approach to some major issues? To be sure. Does that make a patriotic American, who wants to preserve the culture and greatness of America, less of a Conservative than someone who thinks he has a right to "grade" others on his own particular philosophic focus? No, it does not. The person who wants to grade on focus, rather than dedication to preservation is on an ego trip, not a philosophic (that is search for truth) pursuit.
Now, do not mistake my point. There have been many genuinely Conservative writers, who at one time or another wrote for National Review. But their antics in trying to convince others that patriotic induced Conservatism is less Conservatism than academic postulations on particular issues--often modified to humor the "politically correct"--only make them look ridiculous.
See my #468 on the point.
His divorce would’ve disqualified him from leadership positions in Christian denominations who recognize biblical authority over temporal political perception.
The strategic success of the process of demoralization within an increasingly amoral culture doesn’t change that standard.

? which denomination? There are denominations like the orthodox church that do provide for divorce.
>> do provide for divorce
In the clergy and leadership?
Welcome to Free Republic....Troll!
You can cut and paste to your hearts desire.
Again, take your holier than thou attitude and stuff it.
It's someone who supports 6 trillion dollar tax hikes, nationalized banks, single payer health care, 9 months of legal abortion and assault weapon bans, of course.
To the members themselves.
That church allows their priests to be married but if they become divorced or the wife dies, then the can not remarry and remain a priest.
(Reagan was divorced and remarried too. This is why I find the “was divorced” argument rather a red herring)
>>To the members themselves.
Right, the EFCA is not completely intolerant of divorce among the members - but it has higher standards for the leadership.
