After confirming that Donald Trump would not be attending Thursday nightâs GOP debate, rumors began circulating that the GOP frontrunner would appear on Bill OâReillyâs show. Mediaite reached out to a Fox News spokesperson, who confirmed that Trump would be appearing on The OâReilly Factor tonight.

Please tell me what has changed since the moment Trump agreed (probably signed non binding contract) to do the debate and now?
The fearsome Megyn Kelly was no doubt part of it from the beginning.
Of course rationality has no place in any of this so Im not expecting a rational answer
THERE IS HOPE! The media needs to get beat like this.
Go Trump!
Absolutely, and this is why, I’m convinced, Trump wanted the “birth certificate” thing wrapped up in a ruling so he can have Cruz as his veep.
I have said since last July that in the June/July meetings in NYC between Cruz and Trump (3 hours total!!) they didn’t talk Cowboys/Giants football. They outlined the campaign, “What if you’re ahead, what if I’m ahead?” I am willing to bet that Trump told Cruz, “If I win, you’re the veep or AG or my first USSC appointee, and if I lose, I bow out and endorse you.”
I’m sure Cruz said the same thing, excpet they agreed Trump was not temperamentally suited to be a veep and he’d just leave.
I am just dead certain that Trump knows he has a gap in constitutionalism and Cruz or Sessions is his CFO there. I’m very impressed with Trump’s two major hires, Sessions’ guy and Katrina Pierson as his spokesbabe.
I donât watch BOR and havent for quite a while.
I don’t either. But I will tonight. I think it will be interesting to hear what Trump has to say about Fox New screwing him.
But the question remains, how do you know that Trump isn't playing you? I've read The Art of the Deal. Trump's campaign is following it to the letter. Which means the target of his "deal" isn't the media or the Democrats; it's you. So what makes you think that you are going to get more out of this deal than Trump will? Why do you think this deal will benefit conservatives more than an actual conservative candidate?
Yep.
And they’re both good at it. Very good.
We’ve had eight years of narcissism in the White House. Enough. It’s not a “me” job.
I have been away from FR for a long time, but feel it necessary to throw in my two cents about Trump. I’m still undecided about who should be president. That said, Trump comes across as an autocratic or authoritarian leader who does not take input from others because his ego is so large.
Doesn’t that sound a lot like Obama? This concerns me that others don’t see the answer is NOT an authoritarian ruler.
This is the United States of America. We don’t need a king.
Except for Cavuto and the guys from 9-12, Fox news is unwatchable.
The morning show is full of crap that is popular in the midwest, but nowhere else. There is hardly any news. And it certainly is not balanced.
The night shows, including their 6 PM news is constant garbage.
Al-Jezeria America was more balanced that Fox. And when news is breaking, CNN still does the best job.
There isnt really a good morning news program any more.
Good!
His newest ban on FNC didn’t last long.
After FNC bitch slapped him yesterday?
We’ve had “conservatives” in for the last four years. They’ve done a lot for me. /s
How could I be sure Reagan wasn’t “playing” me back then?
No one can ever be sure, but I trust Trump can and will do something more than I trust that Cruz can and will do something. Everyone must make that decision personally, but obviously more are with me than on Cruz’s side.
Um, gee, I don't know... Maybe because they are firm in their beliefs and commitments and want to win the support of voters who may question their desire to stand up for themselves and their beliefs and not run from those with opposing views? Perhaps?
So True.
But its just differing people seeing the obvious... Trumps not that hard to get .....its Art of War 101.. he know how to out maneuvers and out flank
He did not get where he got being a Rube to be played
Good points.
I think this is more a matter of holding those “brass ones” and running away.

Those of you who are so in love with Trump at the moment
will have lots of time to regret it later on ....
****************
woofie, you most likely are correct. However at least it would be a change from the
same ol’ politician regret. For once it may be worth trying to get someone other than a
lifetime politician to be president of this country. In fact I’m to the point that I’d like
to see term limits on the Senators and Representatives just like we have a term limit on the
President. Career politicians have become a disaster for this country imo.
Take care.
You have missed much caterwauling and gnashing of teeth.
Megyn Kelly was not conservative media putting trump on the spot in the first debate. That’s a dream
