Smart people have that affect on some people.

I like this. Cruz and Trumpo shake off the fleas and go freelance with a conservative moderator.

Trump already relied that he would do TWO debates with only Cruz.
As long as it's in Canada.

Personally, I would love to see a Trump vs. Cruz debate. The two strongest contenders, separated from media BS, discussing the issues. It's time to get to the meat and potatoes and dispense with the rest of the pack.
I still think a Trump/Cruz ticket would crush the Beast and the Commie. Why not Cruz/Trump? For the simple reason that Trump has fangs, and will not hesitate to fight hard. Cruz is a great conservative but is too much of a gentleman.
If Cruz can show some fight and absolutely (and he'll have to) crushes Trump, I'll back him. Otherwise, I'm backing the one man who I know fights, and who resonates with the American people.

Levin’s not impartial. Rush would be a good moderator for a debate between the two. Would be funny to see the ratings it got if they went at the same time as Fox.

I'm betting the debate will not happen. At the very least, it's great ad material for Cruz.

Why accept when it is against the RNC rules. Besides Cruz has the stage Thursday to bloviate. Trump won’t be there! It is a win for him.

There is something else going on here.
Trump's playing chess, again.
Six days from the first votes, and he will absolutely dominate the news cycles all the way till Tuesday.
And as the absolute leader in the polls, there's no upside to another debate. A lot of folks just can't seem to grasp that the game has changed.
To: HoosierWordsmith
Cruz couldn’t do it in the past six debates ... Cruz got his butt handed to him in the last debate and was forced to clap for Trump like a trained seal ... the Cruz camp is desperate

Cruz is no coward out of his depth on the issues like the Donald. Cruz has never backed down from a fight against a liberal or a RINO and will never stop fighting for us conservatives.

If Cruz had any guts he would demand Fox apologize for that insulting press release. It is easier to try to look tough and have your trained monkey moderate it.

Cruz being a smart-alec about it, “Trump afarid of Kelly,” is playing right into Trump’s wheelhouse.
