As news spread of Donald Trump's intention to boycott the Republican debate this Thursday, Ted Cruz's national press secretary tweeted out that the Texas senator wished to challenge the GOP frontrunner to a "mano a mano."
Cruz made the remarks to Mark Levin on his radio show Tuesday night. "If Donald is afraid of Megyn Kelly," Cruz said, "I would like to invite him... to participate in a one-on-one debate, between me and Donald, mano a mano."

Cruz floated Sean Hannity and Rush Limbaugh as possible moderators -- but he also said he'd be willing to take him on with no moderator at all, should Trump prove to be afraid of all those people too.
He pondered how Trump could be commander-in-chief if he was "terrified of a TV host."

I really think it is disgusting that Trump is using the vets and wounded warriors just as a way to try to draw attention to himself because he got his feelings hurt. He could do a fund-raiser for them at any time - heck, he could raise funds for them at every one of his rallies if he wanted. But he specifically uses them to say, “hey look at me! Don’t pay attention to that debate!” As usual with Donald, it is all about him.
Not until this month have I seen any site that thought of itself as conservative ripping into Ted Cruz in every other post.
Trump suspends his scheduled campaign for the night. Kind of like McCain suspending his for that bailout Trump endorsed. After which he was, effectively, Prisoner Of Obama.

A lot??? That’s putting it mildly! What about just in the last day or two?
1. He says he would be very PC and very diplomatic if elected. In other words, all his current bombast is just for show.
2. He’s says he will work well with Pelosi, Schumer and their gang.
3. He says Cruz is not only a liar, but he’s also a nasty jerk.
4. He says the Iowa evangelical leader, Bob Vander Plaats, is basically a deadbeat and a fraud.
5. He says he could shoot somebody on 5th Avenue, and his supporters wouldn’t care.
6. He defends Putin against the British judicial finding that Putin ordered the poisoning of a foe in England.
7. He hides behind a veterans’ group rather than debate his fellow candidates.

Just the Houston accent. I know another guy from Houston, and he sounds even more like Cruz than does Osteen.
EVERY debate season preceding every presidential election. Why doesn't the GOP chairman stop this, why AGREE to it, why not DEMAND to be treated fairly? Why do we need "moderators" asking questions anyway?
NOW we finally have a candidate with the cajones, the only one in this bunch, only one in living memory, to refuse to participate unless the debate host network removes the HIGHLY PARTISAN, unqualified, proven Trump hater, transparently seeking to curry favor with her left wing friends and colleagues.
And NOW the Cruzers on FR who weren't even around for all these previous debates in history, knew or cared nothing about politics or were simply Democrats---NOW these people, to support their Establishment candidate, call Trump a COWARD, he's too afraid to face Megyn Kelly. Even Ted Goldman Sachs Cruz is saying it. That's pitiful, because THIS is EXACTLY what conservatives and republicans have wanted for years and years: to NOT let the host network get away with using moderators who are leftists intent upon embarrassing and trying to ruin our candidates, in this case Trump.
So Trump is THE one to set the precedent, to DO what everyone before just TALKED about, and the idiots who should be over on Commitment2Establishment so childishly say, Trump is afraid of Megyn Kelly! LOL!!!!!!!!!!
PS---Trump kicked ass in SIX DEBATES and no one laid a glove on him, and now the losers want another shot at the heavy weight champion. But they aren't in his class. So no rematch.
