An 11-year-old boy from Raleigh, North Carolina, got to see liberal hate firsthand when he expressed support for billionaire businessman Donald Trump during a class assignment.
The student, only known as "Matthew," called conservative talk show host Rush Limbaugh Thursday and told him he attended a very liberal private school and one of his assignments last week was to answer the following question: "Beside Martin Luther King, who are some visionaries who are in the world?"
While others wrote down such answers like Rosa Parks and Abraham Lincoln, Matthew said he wrote down Donald Trump's name. The next day, Matthew said the teacher pulled him aside and told him to erase the comment. When he asked why she asked, "What good has he done for this world?"
Matthew said he told his teacher Trump has "created his businesses, and he's built magnificent buildings in many countries in the world, and he's actually running for president while he's actually stating his ideas."
The teacher still insisted Matthew erase his comment. The boy told Limbaugh he "got mad after that." But that wasn't the end of his problems. After that incident, Matthew said he had become target at school with schoolmates telling him, "Donald Trump's sucks and you do too."
He admitted he didn't know what to do, telling Limbaugh, "I don't exactly like backing down that much and I was kind of disturbed by that."
Limbaugh explained to Matthew that how liberals operate and that his classmates and teacher were jealous of him and they felt they could pick on him because the teacher called him out. It's shameful that a teacher, who is supposed to foster children's ideas and growth, would do such a thing to a child.

I highly doubt it would be a no name. I can think of one that would make the establishment soil their unmentionables.
I’m a Cruz guy who supported Trump too until recently. I can’t honestly say I’ll vote for him in the general. I’ve telegraphed to the RNC I’d write in Cruz for 2 years, but that was before the Trump phenomenon. In my case you may have noticed my tagline.
I guess I’m not as excited about Don Rickles-style insult politics as you are, Georgie. And his admiration for Pelosi, Reid, Sharpton and the Clintons is the icing on the cake for me. To each his or her own, however.
Excuse me ..?? Explain what you mean by “Cruz supporters are far worse ..??
I find that very hard to believe .. and of course, you have no supporting facts .. just the usual .. “I used to .. but Cruz people treated me bad” stuff.
Not buying it.
That’s “georgiegirl”
Lee Harvey Oswald. Dude that’s hysterical.
I feel exactly the same about Trump. I was middle of the road on him until I started reading all the nasty, insulting comments from Trump supporters toward Cruz fans. It really turned me off to Trump.
You’re more than welcome to it
My dad was also a college professor in a liberal college.
He was also a Marine vet.
He had a BALL getting on their nerves and tweaking them almost daily during the Vietnam days!
He was always upbeat and his optimism and free spirit frustrated them almost daily but his students loved him and he held the science department.
After he retired, things fell apart and they asked him back for a while to bring them all back together and set it on a better course.
As much as they hated his politics, they could not survive without him and he enjoyed his time there.
Being alone in a lions den can be fun if you have the right attitude and are competent.
They simply need to sue the teacher and the school system for emotional distress and permanent scaring brought on by the teacher bullying the child in front of the classroom. Talk about turning a liberal viewpoint around on them. Political correctness run amok could provide them with a large reward which could easily pay for private schooling. For extra enjoyment they should ask the ACLU to take their case.
I was for CRuz too. I admire the man still, but now with his reliance with BEck, he does come across as a “nasty man.”
Now over night, Trump is on the same side as the GOPe. Amazing...
YOu dont’ mess with him. The debate with Fox is a case in point. He comes out the winner and misses the debate.
Would be funny, if Fox left that position empty on the stage...Would make them all look foolish.
1%ers.
Years ago I happen to read a NEA mag once while waiting,,,forget what for...and after reading it I decided if my children ever wanted to become public school teachers I wouldnt pay for their education and would take them out of my will. Happily they found great careers and are solid conservatives.
1%ers...good!
I think the number of additional posts agreeing with me is testimony to what has happened on FR.
POTUS primary season is always sharp elbows on FR, but this year has definitely fallen to a low level of discourse.
I rather like Cruz, but his team should stay off people’s backs ...
