"This is actually a pretty good ad exposing how Trump has used eminent domain to bulldoze an elderly woman's home to create a limo parking lot for his casino:"
That is an outright lie.
Read and see the unbelievable contortions some go though to avoid admitting the statement is a lie;

The actual summation statement in the thread, at the ad site, and in Ted’s tweet;
“This is actually a pretty good ad exposing how Trump has used eminent domain to bulldoze an elderly woman’s home to create a limo parking lot for his casino:”
That is an outright lie.

Trump on the Cruz ad yesterday in Pella IA;

What a mess this guy is.
Wow, they must really be worried about this one sticking. Truth hurts, though - semantics won’t save him on this one.
"Ad exposing how Trump has used eminent domain to bulldoze an elderly woman's home to create a limo parking lot" ; Ted Cruz (@tedcruz) January 22, 2016
The ad does not say the home was “bulldozed”. Anybody that’s says it did is lying.
And a copy of Trump’s offer is where?
Trump’s word alone is not enough. If he said he would have paid $5 million, I bet she would have taken it. Trump probably wanted it for a fraction of the value. No other reason he tried to use eminent domain to get it.
Without eminent domain, no large metropolitan airports would have been possible, our magnificent Interstate Highway system would be impossible, most large hospitals and schools would not be here, not to mention huge financial centers in New York, Chicago & Los Angeles.
Keystone pipeline, a private enterprise, would require confiscation of thousands of farms and homes. Eminent domain is a prosperity creator.
Some people do not place prosperity high on their agenda, both on far left and far right.
Great ad. The truth hurts.
Trump showing weakness?
Hmm.
No, Trump was not successful as a judge put a stop to his effort. Otherwise, he would have done so. So, if Cruz says that the house did end up getting bulldozed, that is incorrect, but that is no defense of Trump's morality in this instance, nor his abuse of eminent domain as he was making every effort to do so and would have but for the judge stopping the effort. The explanation in the article from Trump's campaign is also false that he "didn't end up purchasing it" as though he just changed his mind - a judge told him that he could not after a property rights organization stepped in on her behalf to fight Trump's effort in court. Here is a full report on the situation which was posted long before this campaign so it was not posted to be politically motivated.
The property was sold at auction for $530,000 and purchased by Carl Icahn.
Trump did’t purchase it nor did he bid on it.
The Supreme court was horribly wrong deciding, Kelo, and not for the first time. Once it took the most precious personal property of a man homesteading in what would become MY town (Bettendorf, IA), his freedom. Slavery had never been legal here nor in Illinois where he'd been taken earlier. He should have become free as soon as he left slavery's jurisdiction. But government, via a bad Supreme Court, took his personal property, his freedom. It was the same principle: she owned her house; he owned himself. Dred Scott v. Sandford took our worst war to overturn. Kelo just needs to have a President, who understands the Constitution and the principles on which it was built, to appoint better Supreme Court justices, to overturn it. If Trump doesn't understand this, how can he be trusted to appoint judges who'll rule when it's our stuff, and our freedom, on the line?
Someone had to sell their part of their property for most if not all of the following due to Eminent Domain.
Any one who drives on a city, county, state road or interstate is able to do it because of Eminent Domain.
If you fly out of any major airport, it was built because of Eminent Domain.
Like pro or College football, more than likely the stadium and your seat was built due to Eminent Domain.
The electricity you use to post or whatever is coming over poles and line probably due to Eminent Domain.
The house is either still standing or relatively recently destroyed by an heir.
He used it exactly that way. The fact that the courts stopped him is beside the point.
