Beck's speech continued by urging Iowans to support someone like Cruz, who he argued would take risks to bring as many Marxist atheists—like Cruz's father was when he came in from Cuba- as possible into America from foreign lands on the off chance they might end up seeing the light and becoming conservative Christians.
"So when we look at immigration, let's remember that people-if they want to come here and want to be Americans—they renew us," Beck said.
"And you never know what somebody might do. There was a Marxist, a Marxist who didn't really realize how Marxist he was that moved into the United States. A guy who fought in a revolution for Marxist principles. He was a little nuts, a little crazy at the time-almost lost his life in fact in the struggle. Came over here, he was an atheist. Didn't believe in God. Now, who wants that guy here? Except that guy happens to be Rafael Cruz who fell in love with our principles, fell in love with our country, and raised a man who could be the next president of the United States."

Cruz was not fully reformed when he came to America by any means. But Mr. Cruz is an example of a man saved by grace, and since his conversion to Christianity, he has contributed mightily to America. And you know that.
These attacks on our BEST candidate are coming from many Freepers b/c you have been transfixed by a Clinton-loving charlatan. I like some of Trump’s recent remarks since his conversion, but when you look at history, you can’t trust the man. Stop the childish punk talk.

Joke? Maybe I missed a post, but I don’t give a damn. It is no wonder that Maobama won two elections when so many people can make sport of a man who did more to expose him as a Marxist than anyone else in media. Beck’s got balls. I find him annoying sometimes, but I have great respect for him. If defending a very decent man gets me the boot here, it would be worn as a badge of honor.
Listen, if you want to drink the Beck kool-aid that all Marxist-Atheists who come to the USA are suddenly going to be great patriots, it’s your business.
I used to like Beck. More than two-years ago, before he embraced the “big tent GOP” gay-marriage issue. And has only gone downhill in a lot of ways since then.
