I'll put it out there-I'm rooting for Ted Cruz to win Iowa and New Hampshire and anywhere else he can do damage to Trump before the Joe McCarthy lookalike self-immolates in a bonfire of biofuel, birth certificates, and Goldman Sachs loans.
Cruz, the only GOP candidate to come close to Trump in the polls, is in a bad way. Sarah Palin may have endorsed Trump in gibberish, but popular Iowa Governor Terry Branstad denounced Cruz for opposing ethanol subsidies in plain Iowa greedlish, and constitutional lawyers are raising serious questions about whether the Canadian-born senator is eligible to become president. And now, in a kind of SwiftChurching, accusations are flying that Cruz is a "phony" Christian.

But she thinks Cruz can fill a necessary role. He can fill in as the designated loser to Hillary Clinton.
From the article:
"Trump, is more "likable" than Cruz. He has warmth and humor, and can at least mimic the sound of empathy.
That's why I'm rooting for Cruz. Hillary could beat him with ease, while the Beltway illusion-that she'd trample Trump-is crumbling more every day. The farce is with him."
The Daily Stormer has endorsed Trump.
realclearpolitics has cruz beating hillary and trump losing.
it doesn’t matter anyway. there’s no where for ted to get 20 points from.
this thing’s over.
Plausible, but not certain.
After Iowa Cruz will try to appeal to the middle. He may have some success.
Iâll put it out thereâIâm rooting for Ted Cruz to win Iowa and New Hampshire and anywhere else he can do damage to Trump before the Joe McCarthy lookalike self-immolates in a bonfire of biofuel, birth certificates, and Goldman Sachs loans.
Yes, Cruz is a schlong. (And, by the way, Cruz didnât support the Zadroga bill either, nor did 9/11 free-rider New Jersey governor Chris Christie.) And I get it that the real story about Trumpâs slap-down in the last GOP debate was the way the mogul used the terror attack to establish dominance over Cruz, even making him applaud as he was being trumped.
That's why I'm rooting for Cruz. Hillary could beat him with ease, while the Beltway illusionâthat she'd trample Trumpâis crumbling more every day. The farce is with him.
She can keep on wishing.
Trump is going to run the table.
Here’s a nightmare scenario for poor Leslie Savan...
-Trump wins and takes Cruz along as VP
-Trump serves 2 years and a day and having put into motion all he had planned he resigns and returns to his business empire.
-Cruz becomes president and has two years to prove himself.
-Cruz is elected to his own term.
-Cruz is later elected to a 2nd full term.
-Cruz servers for 10 years.... the nation is saved...the dems are toast.
If u gonna dream, Dream BIG! :-)
I swear that is my favorite. I laugh every time I see it because it’s so spot on.
How much did the whitches in the ad tithe?
However, it has become obvious that many Cruz supporters only support him because they think he can damage Trump. They know they can not defeat Trump. They want Cruz to do their dirty work so that Cruz can then be defeated.
They want Cruz to damage Trump and then implode or “self-immolate” as the author says.
The Red Rag flatulates? It smells like victory. Go Trump!
Agree.
Obviously the Mods do not share your amusement.
Why would he pick Cruz? Trump will carry Texas no matter what. He needs to secure Florida or Ohio and Rubio speaks the best Spanish of any of the field. Hillary is going to pick Castro (who is practicing his Spanish). A female would be a good pick but, other than the Governor of New Mexico (who also speaks Spanish but would bring a small state) I don’t think that one is out there and he didn’t exactly connect with the Governor of South Carolina (which he could carry anyway.)
Sweet dream. I love it.
So what you’re saying is, the article basically says, she wants Cruz because Hiiilary can beat him.
I agree 1000%.
Who is NRO backing if they’re not backing Trump. If it’s Cruz, then they’re backing an unelectable candidate.
Gov. Greg Abbott as Vice President
Department of State, (return INS.) Newt Gingrich
Department of Justice, Rep. Steve King
Department of Treasury, (includes former Homeland Security - Customs) Carl Icahn (Offered and Accepted)

This proposed model has the President directly managing seven subordinates which is optimal.

Not this Cruz supporter. I support Cruz because he has demonstrated his willingness to stand on Conservative principles even at the derision of his own political party. He is the type of Conservative that we have been begging for since 1988, and he is now running for President. And as a Conservative who has vowed to support Conservative candidates, I am not about to abandon him for some bling candidate who has great difficulty sanely uttering anything even remotely Conservative.
So when faced with the choices of keeping illegals out or letting them back in, supporting property rights or forfeiting those rights to the biggest influencer, getting government out of the health insurance or using the federal government to pay people's medical bills, implementing a tax code where everyone pays the same rate or implementing one where success is penalized, I will choose the former in each of those examples (Cruz) rather than the latter (Trump). Nothing against Trump personally, but he simply does not hold Conservative views.
