The crowd laughed and clapped, and someone in the audience shouted out love for the candidate.
"We love you, too, man," Trump said.
Trump's comment came during a campaign rally Saturday at Dordt College in northwest Iowa. The 1,500-seat theater completely filled, hundreds more watched his speech from an overflow room.

Wow! Cool of you to meet Mr. Trump! We had lunch in the Trump Grill back in August and he was eating at a table not far from us. No handlers, no one watching his back, just talking non stop to Maureen Dowd. Afterwards, he posed for selfies with all the tourists who had lined up to meet him. There was even a Texan there! I took a photo and have it somewhere on my phone. His busboys told us he was a great boss.

My daughter from the Cayman’s always stays in Trump Tower whenever she travels to NYC and during her last 2 visits she has ended up alone in the same elevator with him! To hear her tell it, they have engaged in wonderful conversations ...lol.

Trump is A Queens New York street kid as I am. No matter how much great education and smarts we get as we travel through life....the language of the Queens, NYC streets stays with all of us. We are like a “Band of Brothers”. Why? Because, when you grow up among italians, Irish, Germans, Greeks, Blacks, Hispanics, Jews, Asians, etc, as we all did during the 40s,50s, & 60s...you forge together your cultures, so that you all get along...and, out comes the NYC street talk....which you love and cherish for your entire life. That is the language of honest, fair and decent people who learned to live together, who formed from many...the one.....the USA Republic!!! God bless Donald J.
