Saudi Arabia is not ruling out developing a nuclear bomb if its regional rival Iran obtains one, Saudi Foreign Minister Adel al-Jubeir told the Reuters news agency on Tuesday.
Asked if Saudi Arabia had discussed seeking a nuclear bomb in the event Iran managed to obtain one, al-Jubeir replied the country would do "whatever we need to do in order to protect our people".
"I don't think it would be logical to expect us to discuss any such issue in public and I don't think it would be reasonable to expect me to answer this question one way or another," he told Reuters.
He also warned that the lifting of sanctions on Iran as a result of its nuclear deal with world powers will be a harmful development if the Islamic Republic uses the extra money to fund "nefarious activities".

In a way, it would be nice if the Muslims vaporized each other.
When they set up a gofundme to actually do it, let me know. I’ll chip in a couple bucks.

It would be very nice.
But firstly all the homicidal radical islamic muslim towel heads.
Was NK’s nuke test a sales demo?

As long as Israel can knock down all the bogies heading their way when the conflagration starts.
The Saudis don’t want some second rate nuclear weapon. No doubt the financially hard pressed French who already do extensive business with them, will sell them, very quietly of course some dusty but still very functional nuclear weapons from their arsenal.
A word about Israel. Bogeys, shmogies. We have very unpredictable weather here. The wind can come from any direction. Fallout will be a huge problem.
A few nukes going off there will certainly help with oil prices here in Texas.

Saudi Arabia will join the nuclear club by buying "off the shelf"â atomic weapons from Pakistan, US officials told a London newspaper.
The Saudis - who financed much of Pakistan's nuke program - are fearful of international efforts to keep its enemy Iran from acquiring a bomb, the Sunday Times of London reports.
Barry’s legacy.
Thank you for the links.
Exactly. Saudi has already built and bought a bomb. It is sitting in Pakistan in cold storage.
Done deal.
They are running out of money, so they may have to DIY the bomb. Otherwise they would simply buy one from the Paks.
Give it to them on the condition it must be used on Iran.
If they don’t like the Paki bomb they could get one of the NKorean models.
Lots of countries will be in the market.
The US is unreliable and getting weaker every day.
Heck, bombs are just cheaper than the US umbrella.
