Sarah Palin knows the position she wants in a Donald Trump administration: Energy secretary.
"I think a lot about the Department of Energy, because energy is my baby: oil and gas and minerals, those things that God has dumped on this part of the Earth for mankind's use instead of us relying on unfriendly foreign nations," she told CNN's Jake Tapper in an interview that aired Sunday on State of the Union.

I think Cruz’s plan to abolish the Energy Department makes more sense. I had always assumed that Palin would become Interior Secretary.
Sessions is a lone voice in the Senate, or close to it. Find someone like him for DHS.
But this has always bugged me about Cruz in the Senate: ok, I get that he wasn't going to get McCain or Graham to side with him. But why was he unable in his filibuster to even get Sessions to support him?
I’d rather see her at EPA to clean house. They need to RIF about 50% and then take a close look at those remaining. Shoot for getting down to between 15% and 25% after two or three years.

As conservatives, we should be more in favor of abolishing the Department of Energy, a la Cruz’s plans, but the Trumpettes have lost any sense of principle in support of their man.

I have always been amazed at how 99% of the country, (including many Freepers), has no idea what DOE’s main function is.
The sad thing is, it seems like most DOE Secretaries have had no idea either.

Reality TV gigs seem to be running out for the Palins, time to insert herself into the biggest TV show of the all.
I liked her quite a bit before she came out with her support for Front National and the Le Pen clan in France. Well, both Le Pen and Trump like Putin a lot, so Sarah belongs to this company of useful fools.
