Sarah Palin knows the position she wants in a Donald Trump administration: Energy secretary.
"I think a lot about the Department of Energy, because energy is my baby: oil and gas and minerals, those things that God has dumped on this part of the Earth for mankind's use instead of us relying on unfriendly foreign nations," she told CNN's Jake Tapper in an interview that aired Sunday on State of the Union.

YAY Works for me!!!
That would be outstanding!
For one thing have of the envirowackos in the Bay Area would suffer fatal heart attacks immediately.
No other candidate is floating an opportunity for Palin.
Those reality show hosts gotta stick together.
Or did I oversleep and miss the Primaries perhaps?
Sessions needs a role in Homeland Security or border control, but it might be a step down.
Is Palin going to be at one of Trump’s rallies today?
The primaries will be over in a few hours.
Superlative.
MSNBC now reporting Sarah could appear with trump in Ames later today (6pm EST)
Also reporting it will be John Wayneâs daughter appearing with trump earlier today.
Cruzers losing their marbles as they watch Rafael Edward Cruz drop in the polls.
Sarah would be the kill shot before Iowa caucus - great strategy for Trump to kill the opponent as early as possible.
It buoys my spirits to think of how Palin could take the wind out of the EPA’s sails.
It does - you do realize that the Department of Energy has almost zero to do with energy production. It's principal missions, where most of the appropriated funds go, is to operate very large scientific machines (accelerators and the like), build and maintain nuclear weapons - one of the most difficult scientific problems we have ever executed - and clean up the nuclear waste problems created by the Cold War buildup of nuclear armaments - go look up the budget.
You want Palin or any nontechnical politician in charge of all that. I know it is funny to think of her destroying DOE because of its impact on oil production in Alaska. DOE does not do that. That is Interior.
how convenient. the department of energy shouldn’t even exist.
I was sorta hoping the Department of Energy would be eliminated....
At Energy. Hint - EPA is a completely separate Agency.
I’d rather see her as director of the EPA, if possible.
