Nothing is settled law when Democrats are intent on retaining power. That’s the whole point.

There are leaks in the "settled law" narrative. Reminds of "settled science" global warming.

Santorum is moving in the right direction. My quibble is that the law isn't unsttled, it's settled. Cruz should quit before he gets fired.

So talking about the issues and positions didn’t work for the Trump bots so they are going for broke with this nonsense.

Ruh roh. Another Liberal attacking Cruz. I wonder if Team Cruz is going to call him a Democrat too?

Before 2007 I thought it was settled law, I thought everyone knew what natural born citizen meant. Born here of citizen parents, could not possibly be anything other than a US citizen.

The new definition that applied to Obama and Ted figures should apply to him is simply, born a citizen.
That makes every anchor baby and Winston Churchill eligible.
The courts do not want to touch this because they will be exposed as having allowed an usurper into office.

Rick, your time to say this was the day that Ted declared, not now. NOW, it is obvious that you are lying, just like Trump and Coulter.

Christie and now Santorum seeing if that can get a boost drafting off Trump’s attack wake. Love the smell of desperation in the morning. It sounds....like I dunno....pathetic.

Funny how Rick gave Obama a birther pass the first time around but now he's suddenly interested in giving Cruz a complete orifice probe.

Santorum's not a birther

I think this is part of the GOPe trying to take out Cruz now figuring they can take out Trump later.

The GOPe are the nasty ones!

Ah, yes, the dimmest bulb in the Republican race weighs in. I knew Santorum back in his Senatorial/pre-Senatorial days. One thing I (and the members of his law firm) would not call him is either smart or a legal scholar.

This is the same Rick Santorum who in 2012 prematurely proclaimed George Zimmerman guilty of murdering Trayvon Martin, saying that Zimmerman had a “very sick mind” and “heinous intentions.”

It’s not settled law. Cruz should get a DECLARATORY JUDGMENT to get the problem resolved. Then Trump can consider him for VP. Until he gets his PROBLEM resolved he has a CLOUD OVER HIS HEAD and puts the party at great risk because the Rats will sue.

I voted for Santorum in the 2012 primary. It becomes more and more obvious that his lack of judgment led to his loss of his Senate seat and now it is time for Rick to retire and stop embarrassing himself.
