GOP presidential candidate former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum says that fellow GOP candidate Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) is "misinforming the public" about him being a "natural born" citizen and eligible to run for President of the United States.
The Des Moines Register's politics reporter Jennifer Jacobs posted on Twitter:
Ted Cruz is "misinforming the public" by saying "natural born" issue is "settled law," Rick Santorum says in Iowa. Supreme Court must rule. -Jennifer Jacobs (@JenniferJJacobs) January 13, 2016

Rick, your time to say this was the day that Ted declared, not now. NOW, it is obvious that you are lying, just like Trump and Coulter.
Work the magic of the law, “Apples will be considered as oranges” Poof. Legal equality.
Trump has already declared Ted eligible. He is exposing himself as the fraud he is by talking about this non-issue now.
Christie and now Santorum seeing if that can get a boost drafting off Trump’s attack wake. Love the smell of desperation in the morning. It sounds....like I dunno....pathetic.
Congress and the political hacks are most to blame for enabling the first usurper in chief. Courts let it slide because the people are asleep, and if the people wake up, it will be with pitchforks and torches.
“It’s not nonsense, unless you find the constitution and the identity of a nation to be nonsense”
What a strawman.
Cruz being a NBC is entirely consistent with the Constitution, case law, and our nations history.
Since when did Rick decide that 5 hacks in black robes should decide every issue for Americans? Of course, Ted was born American, so I distrust everyone who is screaming about this now.
Obabma helped draw up Senate resolution that confirmed John McCain is natural born US citizen

Why not just discuss the issues?
“Work the magic of the law, âApples will be considered as orangesâ Poof. Legal equality.”
While conservatives are arguing over whether someone born to an American citizen is a NBC the liberals are working to install a NY liberal in office as a conservative.
Forget that our country is burning down and that our list of candidates is pretty darn short of anyone resembling a conservative. No, lets attack the one candidate who has a chance of winning and stopping the slide of our country.
The GOPe are the nasty ones!

To the contrary, there is the statute itself, the entire history of U.S. naturalization statutes, the precedents in Bellei and in Minor, the dicta in Ark, the exemplar case of Churchill, all of which show that he is a citizen by statute, i.e. a naturalized citizen, and not eligible to be President.
Because Trump would lose on the issues and the sheep are following his lead.
Santorum, Huckabee, Paul, Fiorina, and of course Trump questioning Teddy. Starting to add up.

Yep, starting to add up to a verified GOPe membership roster.
IRREFUTABLE AUTHORITY HAS SPOKEN
(Oct. 18, 2009) The Post & Email has in several articles mentioned that the Supreme Court of the United States has given the definition of what a ânatural born citizenâ is. Since being a natural born citizen is an objective qualification and requirement of office for the U.S. President (and VP), it is important for all U.S. Citizens to understand what this term means.

There is a pretty big group of posers here who hold as you do, that I consider friends. I've asked them, respectfully, to not debate the subject with me because it carries of risk of hard feelings.
I am stuck on my position. I am confident it is correct. I have studied the law. I understand the rhetorical and logical tricks that subvert the way the constitution and naturalization cooperate. Just saying, I didn't get here by some blind "appeal to authority." I studied it, thought about it on my own. My bases and argument have been challenged, and I appreciate the efforts of all my opponents in argument.
But now, here, there can be no benefit to the two of us discussing this point.
I have no hard feeling if you as adhered to your point of view as I am to mine. That sort of difference is to be expected. If it didn't exist, I'd be worried, because humanity is fallible as all get out.
bzzzt wrong
He was given a birth certificate at birth because his mother was a citizen.
Of course I could trust your interpretation over the opinion of several Constitutional legal scholars. I think I’ll go with someone who knows which way is up.
I notices a typo — I did not mean to say “posers” I meant “posters.” I don;t think your argument, at this point, is undertaken with bad faith, or on you pretending to be something other than what you are. Sorry about that, most unfortunate typo.
