GOP Presidential candidate Donald Trump will speak at Liberty University’s first convocation of 2016. The event is scheduled to begin at 10:30 AM EST.
I'm Catholic, but I'm not sure the current Pope is.
Meanwhile back at the topic of this thread. I saw the Intro which I thought was amazing..loved the stories about Trump's acts of kindness to people.
Missed most of Trump's speech as I needed to take my Mom lunch. Hope I can catch a replay, or his speech this afternoon. Wish I was as organized/ driven/task oriented as he.

There are hundreds of millions of dollars floating around this election cycle. Of course some of that will be used for paid bloggers. Now that the race is shaking out, the howlers will really be at it. A few more weeks and lots will drop off. Then we’ll see them again once they change paymasters from the RNC faction to the DNC.

Thank you for reminding us. Cruz’s lack of discernment on these kinds of issues, as well as some important bad decisions, are why he isn’t at the top of my list for President. That’s also the reason I get a hinky feeling when people mention him as possible SCOTUS member. AG maybe, but not SCOTUS.

I have tried several times with varying degrees of success. Plenty of videos on youtube that shows many methods. I think bacon today is made in about 10 minutes. [:-)

I heard that five or six major outlets carried this today including Fox10 Phoenix and CNN.

It would be icing on the cake if Trump were a born-again Christian. Maybe he is; maybe he isn’t. (Personally, I doubt if he is, but there’s always hope.)
In America, it doesn’t matter. The Founding Fathers specifically excluded anything faith-based as a requirement for President — or any other federal office, for that matter. They kicked around the idea of a state church as some of the states, e.g., Massachusetts, seemed to be heading in that direction, IIRC.
If we hire/elect a man who is tough enough to save the Constitution, then freedom of religion will be rescued for all of us, whatever our religion (or lack thereof). Trump appears to be extremely strong and not susceptible to buckling under pressure and that’s what we need now.
