Conservative radio host Glenn Beck apologized for claiming that Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump had voted for President Barack Obama in 2012 and 2016, saying he'd been duped by a fake tweet.
Beck was a guest on Fox News' "The O'Reilly Factor" last week, making a case for why he thinks "progressive" Trump would be as big of a "monster" as Barack Obama â a case he's been making for many months.
Trump watched and responded to the show with a slew of unpleasant opinions about "dopey" Beck to a New Hampshire crowd.
When Trump denied ever having voted for the president Beck tweeted:
Why do you keep saying things like you didn't vote for @BarackObama ?⦠just admit it @realDonaldTrump pic.twitter.com/ZgL9OAOZck

They aren’t allowed to have thoughts that Glenn doesn’t approve of. Stu is especially rabid about Trump.
Yeah following his really sincere apology he’s followed it up by calling Trump a Nazi, an Alinskyite, and exactly like Obama.
Then he whitewashes it all by saying he’s not attacking the person but the ideas. Such a con man.
BOOM!
Or maybe Beck and Cruz were being compassionate.
Sadly he's just off the rails, period.
I am ready to vote so we can get back to Washington ineptness and corruption as usual.
They are both guilty of welcoming ILLEGALS into this country, it’s not “compassion” it’s criminal.
Tweet??? Nothing like having detailed and well researched sources for your blanket statements.
Erk!
I can just see Glenn of in some branch of Leisure World — out there with the ghosts of Lawrence Welk, and Art Linkletter — there after dinner looking all around and coming off with “Does anybody here remember Vera Lynn...?”
Thanks Cheerio.
Putnam and Breem were both big during the Clinton years, delving into it and bringing people to the region for presentations.
They both did a great job on a spectrum of issues.
BTW, thanks for the other note of agreement.
I do not apologize for crap.
I knew someone who had Korean war PTSD. They were a heavy drinker for 10 years, an alcoholic for 15, got drunk 5 or 6 nights a week, but never missed a day of work. Then they started going to AA and never got drunk again. Five years later they had signs of early Alzheimers, got progressively worse over 10 years and died at age 75. The were being given a very good diet and ample vitamins, minerals and supplements. Although for their last 3 years they needed 24 hour supervision, they remained mobile and otherwise healthy until the last 1 to 6 months.
It isn’t just criminals from Mexico that we are dealing with. We also have some real nasty gang folks from Guatemala and El Salvador. In part we are reaping the harvest of a century of oppressive government there partially aided by US corporate and military interests.
Yes, it’s not just Mexican gangs. Trump also mentioned MS-17 in his book.
Giving toys to children makes you a bad person? Guess I missed that memo.
Well, that is good to hear. Still does not explain why Trump thought Romney’s approach was “mean-spirited.”
LOL!! Which time? Hasn't he gone blind twice? Or was that the adrenal fatigue?
