It’ll be settled in a court in one way or another. There might be a particularly opportune time politically for Trump to file such a suit.
To: RoosterRedux
Was Trump a liar when he said he wouldn’t be the one filing suit or is he a liar now?
To: RoosterRedux
It appears that Trump, the deal-maker, has made a deal with his good friend Hillary. A lawsuit will be the end of both Cruz and Trump as candidates, enabling JEB! to get the nomination and lose the election. Hail to another Clinton victory!

The courts have demonstrated time and time again that they have no interest in this issue, at least when it was obama’s lack of Constitutional eligibility.
I wonder if they will claim Trump has “no standing” to file suit.

The NBC thing has been a cloudy issue since Obama started running. There is no clear definition. The language of the Constitution has to be interpreted either this way or that way. No one knows because there has been no explicit ruling.
I’d like this settled. For Obama, for Cruz, for the next guy.
I think a candidate (Trump) has “standing” to demand that a court decide if another candidate can actually hold the office which they are both seeking.

I'm very much for Trump, but something is really amiss here. What if, and that's a big if, he's trying to get out of the process now and this is his way. He was going along quite swimmingly until the citizenship BS about Cruz started coming up.
IMHO, he needs to drop this BS now!
To: RoosterRedux
The Trum/Cruz fallout has touched off a nasty civil war on FR, the likes of which I have never seen since I joined.
